London is so expensive, with the credit crunch it's just making mine and my fiances life even more miserable than the English weather. We've been going twice a year to the south of France for 4 yrs and each time we go we say 'this is where we want to live'. My fiancé is fluent in French,English and Arabic, I only understand when people speak French. I know I can pick it up though.
If we want to move let's say to Nice or Antibes will I be able to find English speaking jobs? (I'm a PA to chairman in the Uk, my fiance works in IT.)
How much money will we need in order to start up by renting a small 1 bed flat?
How does healthcare work in france? As British will we be covered at least for the first 2 years?
If anyone has had any experience moving there can u let me know about your struggles? I would rather struggle in the beautiful cote d'azur than in this miserable country!

the south of France is going to be expensive,depending on where you are going to live?
any known city such as Cannes,Nice,Antibes included,are going to be expensive (tourists)
so? be prepared to pay quite a bit to rent,,
as far as health is concerned? you will be able to get health after you work there for a while, because it will be taken out of your check automatically.
about jobs? i really do not know of any openings. but you could both work season jobs for starters.. not fun, but it will pay the rent..
until you get to know people and hear about jobs. it is always the best way to get jobs..
the UK is expensive, i took a look last week for some apts and almost fell on my rear... and the weather? gee.
