During my adjustment of status interview, I was aked to send in some documents after? Do I send in the original or is a photo copy enough. I know they will not return the original and I would like to hold on the original just in case. Also, I know they did not ask for ythe original at the initial submission but was aked to bring it during the interview. What rule applies here? Has anyone experienced this? Thank you for your help.

if they don't say "original", then you have to send a copy. when I went to the interview, I showed them the original, but I only gave them the copy. |

You always need to send copies and take originals with you to the interview only. Send photocopies, that's what they expect since what you said is true: they are not going to give them back and you'll need the originals. If they want originals, they will tell you but I don't think that's what they want. |

I do believe they want the copies. they will tell you if they want the originals. Look at your paperwork it should tell you. After the process is complete you can summit a form to have all originals returned |
