Is your father an Israeli citizen? If so, then you should also be able to get an Israeli passport as you should also be an Israeli citizen. Of course, if you're an Israeli citizen and you go back to Israel, you'd be subject to the draft. As for the US and Israeli dual citizen question, while the US doesn't officially recognize dual citizenship, it does nothing whatever about it. and, neither does Israel. lots and lots of people in Israel are dual citizens. |

the fact that you were born in Israel does not give you the citizenship.
you receive citizenship by birth only if one parent already hold the citizenship,in your case? the answer is no.(unless your mother has it)

having an american passport doesn't nec make your father an american and even if he is, it doesn't nec make you able to get an american passport. america doesn't recognise dual citizenship, just tollerates it. as for isreal, you'd have to check w/ their state department. |
