If your mom is a UK citizen, you are a dual citizen by birth. All you have to do is talk to the British embassy and find out what documents you need to apply for a UK passport.

If your mom is a British citizen then you are a British citizen by descent. This means you are a British citizen but you can not pass British citizenship to your children (unless you move there, etc.). Your mom would be a British citizen "otherwise than by descent" because she was born there and can pass on British citizenship.
Go to a British consulate and apply for a passport. Fill out the paperwork and....

Absolutely - and yes both UK and Canada allow dual citizenshiop.

you cannot get SCOTTISH citizenship. Since scotland is part of the UK, you will apply for British citizenship.

it depends if they are citizens of that country still. usually parents that have dual citizenship keep it for their children also. so find out

Absolutely, you could easily get it with a Scottish mother, provided both countries allow dual citizenship, which is probable, just google it.
