Don't know, haven't shopped at Wal Mart in years. I don't support companies who crap on Americans, and would rather have less to eat each week than help a company drive people further into poverty. But hey, on the good side eating less helps fight obesity. |

and how is that different than it is now at Walmart, lol?? they'll adapt. we will all adapt. the businesses hiring illegals will get what they deserve. of course, if they were all deported, there would be shortages in some job markets... buuuut, there would be shortages in the welfare line, the hospitals, the voting booths, the local jails... etc etc... which is more portenant?? these people broke the law... no matter how lax the law was/is. it's still a law. we are a nation of laws. you gonna look the other way when someone steals your car? same thing. breaking the law is breaking the law. |

I don't think my walmart has any illegals working there but I suppose there could be. I havent seen any Mexican looking clerks anyway. It is a crappy corporation and certainly capable of breaking the law by hiring criminals to be clerks. I only shop at walmart when everything else is closed and they are the only place to buy what I need so I really don't care who they hire. |

You're repeating the Bush-Kennedy lie. There was never a problem filling Wal-mart jobs ,or fast food jobs, or any other job before 20 million illegals entered the country. Why should there be a problem once they leave? I would be happy to talk to someone at a fast food window that can clearly speak english . I would be happy to see public rest rooms in my town once again clean. I would be happy to not be moving soon because of rising crime due to our huge mexican population. |

Be happy because Wal-Mart will be forced to pay decent wages and give decent benefits if they want to attract employees.
I have nothing against immigrants or immigration. In fact I think immigration brings new blood to our republic.
But I have a big problem with illegal immigration. When you have a lot of illegal immigrants, both American citizens and the illegal immigrants get screwed by big business with low wages, poor benefits and poor working conditions.
The Mexican ruling elite is hopelessly corrupt and incompetent. They use illegal immigration as a safety valve to save their skins. If it wasn't for illegal immigration, Mexico would have had a long overdue & bloody revolution years ago.
We all deserve better. |
