Please help! We got the approval notice from ICS. However, our grand parents are very old now and not in a good shape! What will happen when the sponsors (grand parents) die? Are they going to close the case?

Yak Rider is right, of course. However, it is possible for other family members in the US to ask USCIS for permission to take over as the petitioner for humanitarian reasons. Then, it's up to USCIS to decide whether to grant the request or not. so, even when the petitioner dies, it may be possible to continue the case. |
