Consider this: When did it become illegal to enter this country? There are laws that were passed but when did they start enforcing that law? Is there anyway to prove an illegal alien has forged documents? Then again they may not catch all the murderers but total enforcement is very hard.
The anti-illegal alien groups have claimed that illegal aliens have taken jobs from legal aliens yet jobs like farm workers go begging for more. They also claim that illegal aliens are a burden on the system, what about all the social security and taxes that they have paid? In other words there is work and benefits that the illegal aliens provide and they want us to overlook this so that we become unjust to illegal aliens.
We know a murderer has to pay a price for his crime, what is the crime an illegal alien has done to society? Does the alien have to pay a price for babysitting your children, gardening your homes, cleaning your establishment and cooking your food? Is that such a bad crime?
Shouldn't we give them time to close up and move back to their country? Are you so afraid they will run away? After being a loyal worker where is your trust?
We must remain a lawful and humane people even evicted tenants get some rights. Advanced warning not tearing up families ruthlessly is more fair. What goes around will come around and may end up not as well as you would want. |

Maybe to some, but we need to put the survival of are own legal tax paying citizens rights to be breadwinners of our families first. Our country was built on the backs of LEGAL immigrates who worked hard and LOVED this great nation.God bless America! |

The Great Hobo

In my opinion, they lost their right to work here when they broke the law, like all other criminals. |
|

Mon Ray
 |
Dude, what about our OWN breadwinners? We can't even take care of them! If they really want to help their family, they can come through the system like everybody else. |

no it would mean that we actually inforce our laws against criminal behavior fix your own damn nations and stop making excuses to ruin ours |
|

king Ebanks of USA

bottom line USA is a nation of laws? people that break our Immigration laws should be deport right away?
btw tell me a nation that allow non citizen to just walk right in!!! |

most of these people neither understand or care!!! if they was in a similiar situation they would be willing to do the same actions as the illegals do...if your child, your spouse, your parent or any person that you truly love was sick or in hunger you would help them in any way you could...if you say you wouldnt, your either lying or heartless!!! |

What about murderers, rapists, and thieves who have families? Should we let them commit crimes too?
If you don't want to be punished, don't commit crimes. Period. |

This deporting thing is only going to go so far, but maybe it's gone to far. They should get rid of all those people that like to molest children, and all those people that refuse to work, let's get rid of them to. Those people that abuse and mistreat the elderly and disabled let's get rid of them 2. Im so sorry that this has to happen to you or someone you know |

What part of illegal don't you understand? Should we let everyone out of prison who has a family since it is mean to punish them along with him? |

Family goes with the breadwinner. Problem solved. Next question. |

If America deports all illegals that were the only breadwinners of their poor families..? ....No.
Things need to be legal. The USA needs to alter immigration so immigants can come the right way and close the borders. |

Yak Rider
|
No, not at all. |

No, cause then we could feed the hungry to the homeless. and WHAM two problems solved.
Get them out of this country.
So Sayeth the Impaler! |

There is no human rights to violate the law. Any problems deportation causes the family of the illegal alien rest solely on the illegal alien.
Besides, millions of people live in their own country without breaking our laws.
The majority of the illegals in the USA had jobs in their home country. They are just criminals looking out for themselves (and rarely for their children).
I used to feel as you did then I started talking to the illegals and I realized the real reasons they are here.
Name a country where the people are starving and then tell me how many illegal aliens from that country are deported!
None! |

You are forgetting about the primary means of survival for some legal family in this country. Let's take care of us first, and then everyone else. |

 |
They put themselves in this position, they choose to sneak into our country.
If they did not break our laws, if they gave us and our laws respect we would not have this mess. |
|

gapeach

I agree with Mon Ray. We can't even take care of and fed the hungry in our country. |

Don't you understand that deporting illegals would mean more jobs for OUR poor hungry people? Don't the poor of this country have a right to work & feed, clothe, & shelter their families? The illegals are terminating a primary means of survival for our own poor families by taking the existing jobs.
Do you realize we taxpayers have a double load on us due to them? We have to suport our own people plus the illegal families as well with free medical;food stamps; free housing, etc.
The illegals need to go back to their country & change its laws instead of coming here & breaking ours. If our forefathers could build a safe nation why can't they do the same in their on country? Because it's easier to take advantage of us? I say deport them so our own can have a better shot of the American dream. |

Yes and yes to both your questions. |

It would certainly PORTRAY us that way in the eyes of a lot of the world. How we are PORTRAYED is different from whether we would ACTUALLY be violating Human Rights by doing that.
I have mixed feelings on this one, I think everyone should obey the law, even if the current immigration system with it's long waiting periods and many problems is badly in need of an overhaul.
I often wonder why there is so little talk of putting pressure on Mexico and other Countries to fix THEIR human rights problems. The answer for them has been "send everyone to the U.S." and even if we should be doing more than we are this is still not right. |

If they cant provide for their poor families in the first place they shouldnt have families at American tax payers expence,I dont feel sorry for them and they sure as hell dont respect you or this country.Do you think they would care if you could provide for your family or not????? |

First, being in this country illegally, is not a human right. Also, these illegal aliens, knowingly came here, breaking our laws. |

What about the means of survival for those of us that are citizens of this country.
Or do you think that we should take of everyone? |

Why are we responsible to pay for the world's poor, here by breakins our laws, and thereby drive down our wages and ruin our education for our own children and our services for our sick and poor?
We give immigrant visas to between 1 and 2 million people per year. That is more than any other country on earth. Let them call us whatever they like, we are doing more than our share with LEGAL immigration.
Our schools are failing. Whose side are you on? They are not the victims, we are. |

So your saying we can't break up illegal families but it's ok to break up legal families?
Ever heard of Foster Care?
Because when you get right down to it, that's exactly what you're saying......
Don't you understand the meaning of Law???? |

I think you need to address your question to the country of your origin. Why are illegals not staying in their own countries and demanding your human rights there. I know it seems cruel but why are you asking of us, what your country is not willing or able to do for you. And Please stop playing the pity card |

the thing is that they cant deport ALL of the them because Americas economy is based on the money the immigrants make..look at thins for example:
if all the immigrants that worked on construction, builidng house, landscape and such were deported..
you defenetly know that us americans are lazy, so we would be lacking on the growing of our country. well basically the jobs that the imigrants are working right now are mainly the jobs that most folks wouldnt want to be doing. i mean like you dont like these white folks cleaning other peoples houses right?
well the brazilian and hispanic decent people go and clean it..right?
America should be able to legalize the people who have been working hard, who pay taxes and those who dont do crime.
AND DUMBUSTER WHOEVER HE/SHE IS...WHEN THE IMIGRANTS ARE CAUGHT HERE IN AMERICA THEY GO TO JAIL TOO!!!!!!!!>:O
THEY STAY LIKE A MONTH OR TWO IN JAIL AND THEN THEY GET DEPORTED BACK TO THEY'RE COUNTRY..
COME ON PEOPLE!! |

The Bush administration can only do one thing at a time. They don't have the time or money to spend on our country or the illegals that live here. Right now they are concerned with spending billions of U.S taxpayers dollars to help the breadwinners in Iraq. |
