No, it is not automatic. You would still have to satisfy the residency requirement, go through immigration screening and eventually take a citizenship test.
The only thing that is semi-automatic is that you would be granted the right of residency. But even that is subject to screening, to weed out the fraudsters and mail-order brides. |

or a welsh man, or a scottish man, or a man from Northern Ireland.
Hopefully any man would be able to see right through you, marry for citizenship is wrong on so many levels. |

No. First of all, you would have to apply to come to the UK on a spouse visa, if you married abroad, or a fiance visa if you were planning to marry in the UK. This would only be granted if your husband to be could show that he can support and accommodate you. If you are already here on some other visa, you would have to apply to the Home Office for permission to get married, which would most likely be refused. None of this applies if you are an EU citizen or have indefinite leave to remain here.
Anyway, having got married and got into the country, you could apply for indefinite after two years of marriage, but only if you are still together. (There are special rules for proven victims of domestic violence).
For citizenship, I think you can only apply after five years residence in the country. |

WHY, why do you want to come here under illegal conditions - to get a better life, well its not that better, we have unemployment and homelessness. Stay in your own country. You wouldn't be accepted all that easily, if you did get her you don't get benefits, or NHS etc until after 2 years when you sit an entry exam which is very hard. We have enough foriengers here we dont want any more. |

I am not sure about citizenship in England, I remember that in Europe you can't never become a citizen just a resident but never a citizen.. I say ask to the In migration law there.
Germany not citizenship and is and European country I am not sure about England so.

No, you would have to become a citizen if you wanted to.
However, if you have children, they will be citizens in both countries if you never got British citizen-ship (Is that a word?) |
