And can you tell us why they hate it so much they treat it like crap? The country is very beautiful and has vast resources, but a political system that makes it unbearable to live in. The Mexican government has treated their citizens like crap for so long that they have become insensitive and indifferent to their country. It is going to get even worse with the next gangster to be elected President which spews sarcastic crap every time he opens his mouth. When a country has over 42 million people in extreme poverty, they feel they have nothing much to lose. Hunger really doesn't give you much strength for a battle does it?

Individuals (Americans included) don't often have the concept of "us working together towards a better society" ingrained in them. Even if they wanted to go back to Mexico, some feel that the systemic diseases in their government is too big for them to combat on their own and that it will never be fixed, at least not in their lifetime. That's why they go to other countries to see if they can have a better life there.

I'm not Mexican, don't live in the US and am not American either, but who among you would give up the life you have now in order to do something for your own country and society if that meant downgrading your lifestyle now? Honestly?

Exactly how are you planning on changing your country? People are so good at pointing fingers and offering advice when they can't even change the crisis the US is going through, and I'm not talking about illegal immigration.

I heard last week that the government legalized small amounts of coke, heroin, and other drugs hoping to draw young Americans to the country for tourism. That's why they are leaving. The government is corrupt. My problem is, not with them coming here in hopes for a better life. Just do it legally. Get a freaking green card, learn our English and pay taxes. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I could go on and on just as millions of us could.

so the consensus is that Mexico is run by a corrupt government. Absolutely. I have to disagree about the lazy part though. It's like the Russians, while being ruled by communism, they were unproductive but that's a flaw in the system. Mexicans may appear lazy but their hands are tied. I know the ones I hire to mow, paint, frame...all the jobs LAZY whites don't want to do, they bust @ss at.

We are talking about all illegal immigrants not just Mexicans, but they are the ones flooding our country right now, they are the ones taking good paying construction jobs away from Americans, and they pay illegals slave wages to do theses jobs now. If all the people that marched in America would stay in Mexico and march it would change that country.

Mexico, if it weren't for its corruption, could be a world super power. The country could be a beautiful tropical paradise. The Tourism industry would expand and it would be an incredible country. They are too lazy and unmotivated to do these things. They can't see the potential throught the hard work. Maybe someone else should go in and take over to make it a better place.

let's forget about what's going on in mexico...that should be the least of our problems. illegal immigrants should use their time and energy to 1) find ways to get legalized in the US, 2) not commit crimes i.e. gang violence, stealing, drunk driving, cheat the gov't by taking unworthy benefits that belong to the real needy americans, etc. 3) get auto and medical insurance, 4) learn english, 5) assimilate and adapt to their new environment, and lastly 6) respect the US and it's citizens.

Think of it this way...
Remember when you were in high school and they taught you about the Industrial Revolution in history class?...

Imagine that Mexico (along with all third world countries) are behind in their own Industrial Revolutions... You have to understand that an Industrial Revolution must be led by a strong but non-corrupt leader. Unfortunately most government officials there are corrupt. Think of the reasons why socialism, fascism, and communism begin in Europe... It is so easy to steal rights and money from citizens that cannot fight back because they would be targeted and killed for their political views. Mexico and the rest of the world has the potential to be great but unfortunately government officials HAVE the power to kill anyone and everyone no matter how much any other country or UN says it's bad.

porque la mayorÃ¬a de las personas que viaja a eu son gente sin estudios o sin algun oficio , y el trabajo que saben realizar, aquÃ¬ en mexico lo pagarÃ¬an muy barato y allÃ es muy bien pagado (sobre todo cuando cambian dls por pesos)
