Yes if the plane lands in the US and the parents apply for it or else they can file for a citizenship with their home country, as a birth abroad, or they can have dual citizenship. |

No, it would be considered to have been born in whatever country the airline was incorporated in. If it was AirFrance plane, it would be as though the baby had been born in France |

Citizenship follows the mother unless the father is on the birth certificate in which case, the child then has a choice if the citizenship of father and mother are not the same. |

under the old law yes. under the new law if it passed no. They are trying to tighten up on that so as to prevent anyone form gaining by birth that is not here with naturalized parents. |
