If a ex-husband does not want the child of his foreign ex-wife does that improve her chances of deportation?

Does it help if ex-Husband says he doesn't anything to do with the child?.

Is she more likely to be deported if ex-Husband wants custody of the child?.

Or if ex-Husband does not want to keep the child does it mean she will be deported with the child or if ex-Husband does want the child that improves her chances of stay in the U.K?

Sorry, is this a bunch of students doing a project or is it actually someone seeking help for a friend? Because there's a guy comes on here as well asking a similar question from the husband's point of view except he insists the husband has personally cancelled the wife's visa

One's immigration status should not depend on these factors.

Why would the mother get deported? If she does something that makes her deportable, having a child will not stop the authorities from deporting her.

Is the ex-husband the biological father of the child or did he adopt the child legally? If he isn't, he won't get custody.

Having a child does not afffect deportation - either she will be deported without her child if the UK father is granted sole custody, or she will be deported with her child if the UK father does not want custody.

Either way, she will still be deported. It's up to her and her ex-husband to work out if the child should stay stay in the UK with his father or go back to his mother's country

Hmmm....it sounds a bit like *somebody* here is trying to use a vulnerable human being as a weapon here, to try and separate mother and child.

Not sure I'd really want to answer this.

Wow what an absolutely horrid man - I hope you're not encouraging this nasty behaviour. A child is not a toy. He either wants to be in it's life or he doesn't - he should make up his mind. Of course he cannot arrange to get her deported. If she entered the country legally then there is every possibility that she will be allowed to stay with her child, especially if she already has Indefinite Leave to Remain. :-)
