If the person gets deported there is minimum 5-10 years barr ( not being able to come back). And because it's not only overstaying but actual deportation when the government payed for the ticket it can be even harder. I suggest a consultation with an immigration attorney :-) |

if deported, it will be hard to come back, especially when you overstayed you are subject to a 3-10 year reentry ban. unless you get a waiver and those are hard to get.

It depends on the country and how long they overstayed. if you overstayed in the US for more than a year, for example, you are banned for a minimum of 10 years after being deported. |
