If anyone has got a green card through marriage could you please tell my you experience of it? I understand the process but what was it like?

Slow, expensive, and easy if you have half a clue and can follow the instructions.

That said, DHS staff (on the few occasions when you have to deal with them directly) are inept and rude, and seem to delight in trying to make it embarrassing and confusing.

I did .Honestly, it was pretty fast , its not expensive at all.
Do not lie, be honest and everything will be ok!

I did it too. If you have any doubts about the right way to do things, see a lawyer, and make sure he's a good one. (I didn't use a lawyer, but I know people who did and I think it was less stressful for them). Otherwise, read the instructions carefully and make sure you submit everything they want when they want it.

It is a frustrating process, there is no way of knowing how far along you are, so be prepared to be patient!! Good Luck!
