I don't think you would want to move to Mexico. As a foreigner, you would have to prove you have a certain level of income (I believe it is currently $1,500 per month, per person). Also, you are limited in ownership of real estate.
Mexico doesn't want foreigners unless they have money.
What would I do...I wouldn't go to Mexico. I would stay and see how things unfolded in the good ol' USA. |

I plan to start with a trillion dollar law suit, since my step son in the Philippines has been waiting 9 years for alegal visa. If they give amnesty then they should grant all of those that have waited legally an immediate visa. If not that is discrimination against asians. |

It would never happen, the US gov't would have to screen all the applicants to see if any of them are felons or wanted in their country. I know that the screening process will result in many getting deported and many will be allowed to stay. Only the ones with nothing to hide will apply and come foward the rest will continue to hide and wait to be caught. |

I would suggest that all of the people who did it ( became citizens or got legal permits ) legally should band together and demand their money they paid to for the processing be refunded since we are allowing people who break the law and come illegally to just get it for free.
And maybe people from other countries besides Mexico will just go to mexico and come across the border with mexicans instead of doing it legally since i guess we are goin to allow it... |

What effect would the legalization of illegals' status have on YOUR life? Unless you're some backwoods hick who thinks that all the diseases and all the misfortunes in this country are "brought in" by illegal immigrants.
Maybe the government really should expel all of the illegals from this country. That way, we'll see if all of these ignorant white trash Middle Americans will actually work the jobs that they claim illegals are "taking away" from Americans. |
