The combination of your expired green card and the form I-797 allow you to travel in the same way you were able to before you submitted the I-751.
If you have any doubts, see 8 CFR 211.1(a)(5).
"An expired Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, accompanied by a filing receipt issued within the previous 6 months for either a Form I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions, if seeking admission or readmission after a temporary absence of less than 1 year;" |

Valid passport, your expired green card with the extension letter and marriage certificate, just in case if your names are different between passport and green card. With those you will be allowed to back to US without any problem. |
