applying and getting a job in oz would not be a problem but getting into the country could be depending on what the criminal record is and how long ago and what age you were at the time. you could try going through google, or your search engine, and bring up Australia where you can find out information on visas and working because you need a work visa as opposed to a tourist one. you may also be able to find out about criminal records or contact them or ring the australian embassy if you are in the USA or the Australian High Commission if you are in a commonwealth country eg UK.
whatever you do do not falsify your entry documentation or visa application which asks do you have a criminal record because they do fairly extensive checks and if you get caught giving false information you can be in big trouble and even deported. on the other hand you may get away with it but to my mind it is far too risky.
don't know about canada but possibly much the same.

depends what is on your record and if you qualify to work in these countries
work visa's are hard to get especially in australia |
