My family is from El Salvador. They have had no swine flu outbreaks yet, but they are being very cautious. I would contact the US embassy before you go. They should be able to give you advice on the situation.

Cancel it. Not sure if they have closed borders yet, but it will happen. All of Egypt's pigs have been slaughtered to prevent spreading the flu (300-350 thousand), and France is requesting that the EU stop all flights to mexico. So I wouldn't count on the US keeping it's borders open, even though it says it will. As soon as we see Americans dying, they'll take action. |
