I am 20 . Is it possible for me to get green card if my brother sponsor me now .. as it only 5-6 months left for me to be at age of 21 ? How much will this process take average ? will application process with my parents or alonly for me ?

If your brother is an American citizen and has filed an immigrant petition for you and two for your parents, it really doesn't matter how old you are 10, 20 or 30. Your age doesn't change the type of petition or how long it takes. Your petition would be an F4 family preference petition, and it takes a minimum of 11 years from the time it is filed before it becomes valid for use. The petitions filed for your parents would be IR-5s and those would be valid immediately after they are approved, although that can take up to a year or so. But the main thing is, you wouldn't be eligible to go with your parents or benefit from their petitions. If they went and filed a petition for you before you turned 21, that would be an F2a petition and would take about 5 years from the time it is filed. If they filed a petition for you after you turned 21, that would be an F2b and would take at least 9 years. So, no matter how you look at it, at the moment you have a long time before you can go to America and get a green card. |

For your brother to sponsor you would take many years. You are over the age. Your parents application will probably be a little shorter, but not much, depending on where they are coming from. |
