You have to proud about your countries wealth and administration. People moving to your country because of liberty, equality, dignity and economy, your government has succeeded in developing such good living environment. The neighbouring government does know about the values of living and they are differing in the value ideology, and they do not have resources to compete with other developed nations. Hence people are moving, if they are not moving to your land means your country strategies, policies and life style is failed, so be happy to hear people are willing to live and come to your country, but arrange legal migrration for that, then only you could arrange welfare for them through proper planning.

MMm, well since we stole the southern half of the United States from them, and purposefully keep Latin America from developing education and welfare reform with our imperialistic governmental policies, yes I would say we do owe them something. The United States has purposefully squashed all attempts of the Latin American countries to become world powers, and reform their social and political situation by installing puppet governments and dictators for the last 400 years. The purpose? So the US has a constant supply of cheap, uneducated labor to make the things we are too good to make here in our country now, like Fords, and Levi's and such.

You the americans with out the "well payed jobs you use to have" Now all of them are in other Countries... paying lower salaries and with less regulations... America takes your jobs... That's why your Call Center's now are in India and Asia... so Those Countries can "export" theyr poverty... (proffesionals well educated with out a chance to get a good job in their own countries)

Your factories now are in China and SouthAmerica... so they "sign" the "exportation agreement"... (Poor people to enter legally to the USA)

And what about Mexico?... Most of the illegal immigrants are from Mexico... YES ... But this is because it is convinient to the USA Government... Cheap labor for the "IN HOME NEEDS"... Mexicans are the only "luckies" that can "cross" the door easyly than the rest of the other Countries citizens...

Illegals don't come here and demand jobs...they come here and do the jobs that people like YOU won't do! They are escaping an oppressive govt. and are generally dirt poor. WHat the f*** do you think they can do to change their government. How ignorant are you? Do you know for a fact that that is how they feel? Do you know how corrupt it is in Mexico, how difficult it is to move up the class ladder? They are actually putting a heckof a lot more into changing their government than we are- notice the news coming out of Mexico City regarding the protests of the recent election. Could you imagine that happening here? There is so much more to it that one or two statements willnot encompass. There is so much to it that no one person could explain or solve it. But either way, it does have to be fixed on their side, we can't do it for them.

There actually are plenty of jobs in Mexico ... and their constitution guarantees fair wages ... like here, there are areas of unemployment, but unlike here, they prefer to go in droves to the United States, driven by greed ... by the same token, every American with a bum job should go to Canada and demand jobs and welfare ... but most Americans would have more pride than that ....

Whats up Mona. Let me tell you this, Mexico doesn't give handouts, the US does. It shows the kind of character they have. free free free is what they want. Free medical, free welfare, even free citizenship. They aint gonna get that from Mexico, so whats the point?

When the border fence is completed, and revolving-door immigration into the United States is no longer an option, the people of Mexico are going to be faced with some Hard Choices.
They're going to have to start participating in their own government, and taking issue with things like the drug dealers.
When that's done, and crime in Mexico has been put down, and the citizens are once again in charge of their own country, then they'll be on the path to prosperity.

What's going on now is kind of like when you try to start one car from another one using jumper cables. There's some wrench-work before Mexico's going to 'start'. They've got 110 million 'mechanics', time to start fixing things...

this is a really shallow viewpoint. it is FAR beyond their control in their countries. total overhaul is necessary and many are trying that are still there. besides the current illegals here don't have much say in their or our countries. if you noticed it took millions at once...to just raise a few eyebrows over here. nothing has really changed. get a clue, our government is making all of this happen. we are the great global manipulators!!! we have our fingers in EVERY 3rd world nations internal crap and all for our own devious reasons. read sometimes.

I agree. But the government there is corrupt and broken. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. It's a big mess that will take forever to fix. The economy is in the pooper and the people think the only way out is to literally get out. What I don't understand is the loyalty they still have for the country that has done nothing for them. It's not that they feel we owe them something. I think it's when they hear about the freedom this country offers, something is lost in translation and they only hear the "free". Word of mouth travels and it's getting back there about all the amenities our government offers everyone but it's tax paying citizens.

Corruption, such as exists in Mexico, has been there so long that it is normal, it has been bred into the populace, they don't recognize it.... all they see is a chance to break the law by illegally entering the USA in order to steal from America.

Mexico could be a country worth living in and a country worth visiting if Mexicans would fight for freedom and rights instead of DESERTING their people and their country to become illegal alien criminals. Their country is rich in natural resources, it is rich in corrupt Castillian control also.

I dont think illegal inmigrants specially from Mexico go to USA because they think that usa owes them something.

They go because they want to get a job and u should know that american people give jobs to them and they get benefits since the employers dont have to pay a lot in benefits and salaries, what is your opinion of the other part of this equation which is the american who give jobs to illegal inmigrant instead of american citizen?... u are also barking up in the wrong tree.

Because when they demand change in their own country, things like nationalization happen which threatens American property which in turn brings in the Marines. They're being smart and becoming one of the people that send the marines instead of being shot by them.
