this is the smartest question i think you have ever asked thank you,its about time some questions were directed towards mexico as far as their people are concerned ! is mexico preparing at all do they care? have they even said if some of you want to come back we are taking measures to help you? they should prepare and they should have said from the start if this happens we are prepared to help them, but as far as i know they have not , and have only demanded from us too. they take no responsibility in this mess
if you were part of the illegals sent back and they had nothing for you and didn't give a rats *** would you still love mexico? or would your opinion of mexico change? i really appreciate this question i know your getting flack for it as with all your questions sorry lol , but this one is a good one ! again as far as i know mexico would not care tell me have you heard anything has this changed your views on mexico any ? if i had bad feelings towards mexico before its worse now, i was thinking about this the other day and thought wow if that happened they wouldnt care why do these people defend mexico? and i didnt see a lot of posts from mexicans with any views on this strange |

Jobs and housing needs to be created. A minimum wage law. Welfare system. Social security, etc. |

why should they have to prepare, thats where they came from, they will be home. stop building up my hopes with these things. we would have a big party, the welfare offices would be empty and the health department. but it would be the greatest day, here in dalton georgia ever. |

I agree with hayleylov - this is an excellent question and I thank you very much!
The only response that I see that may or may not be from an illegal immigrant was from El Mexicano and I say to him - "Go for it! You can afford a lawyer? Wow, you are doing great with all your tax-free earnings, eh? I certainly don't think the American citizens should be providing free legal aid to any illegal immigrants, either." Give them the option - you want to fight your deportation? Pay for the lawyer yourself! Otherwise, put your tail between your legs and leave on your own steam!
I would love to see how these people would be received by Mexico! I think it would be a huge celebration in the USA! Then, we'll see if we hear any shouts of "Viva la Mexico!"
As one poster said, the US would also need to give "tough love" to all the present US citizens on welfare and it wouldn't be long before all those jobs would be filled. Wages would also soon increase and things would be better than ever for the USA. Costs of the social services would drop dramatically. Even if some of the "anchor" babies end up being left in the USA - they would not cost nearly as much as the current population of illegal immigrants costs the USA. It may sound harsh to some people that some families will be split up, but those illegal immigrants should have thought of that before they came and had their families in a country they were not in legally, in the first place. You have to be harsh in order to get the message across and stop the illegal immigrant situation. Families need not be split up, though, as the illegals can always take their children back with them and the children could choose to return on their own legally when they turn 18.
Most of the illegals would deport themselves if all the current immigration laws were firmly enforced. Therefore, their deportations would not cost American taxpayers anything.
Again, this is an excellent, thought-provoking question. Thanks! |

Americans on welfare will do those jobs when it we apply a little tough love & cut them off after 18 months or so & help place them in those jobs.
They should take tem in with a committment to fix their country into a place where they don't have to flee to support a family. Or I guess we could let them vote on becoming US states? That'd be interesting to see how that came down. |

I don't really want them here either..but who will do the jobs they do when they leave. America has thought it's been too easy for to long |

Presumably with a marching band and parades. Fox calls them heroes, doesn't he?

The very fact that you think it might be a problem for them to receive ONE THIRD of the illegal immigrants here underlines what a burden they are on the system. Of course Mexico will feel it. However we support our poor and they need to support their own. |

Probably by doing the things they should have been doing all this time, promoting investment, expanding their own infrastructure, trying to open up the job market, all that good stuff they somehow 'forgot' to do for about the last 20 years etc.... |

Once again, not my problem.
Mexico should only take their people.
No wait, send them all there so Mexico would know how it feels to be bled monetarily. |

who cares what mexico need to do. we have other problems in the US that we need to think about first. thinking about mexico's situation is the least of our problems. |

They can't and want deport that many people. We all know that.If they want to deport us they are going to have talk to my lawyer about civil rights violations and hardships they are causing uprooting families many of us have family members that are citizens. The government can't do nothing. |

Set up free or really low rent housing, let 20 of them live in a 2 bedroom apartment, with one bathroom, give them sibsidies, like food stamps and AFDC, free medical care, and education. That government needs to reach deep into its pockets and use every peso they can dig out of the people already there to help get these deported people back on their feet and WORKING. They need to give until their economy is drained of billions every year. |

How does Mexico currently receive deported citizens?
Take that and multiply it by 1,000.
It'll cost Mexico money to build the infrastucture up, but they never spent anything on protecting their border in the first place... classic case of poor planning / lack of foresight. |

I hop that going to happen. actually they just go back to there old home town. is that simple? |

Your number is wrong-should be 12 to 20 million, Mexico actually guesses 30 million, 65% of which(at least) are Mexican. They aren't all Mexican, you know.
I guess Mexico better get going on bettering the life of their people. That many people without jobs....there is going to be alot more crime. |
