This is not a "racist" issue, it is a safety issue. What part of illegal does the government not understand. As far as "Americans buying beach land in Mexico" No one can own land for over 30 years in Mexico but a citizen of Mexico! Don't believe it? Check it out. It's a fact.
I have no problem with people from other country's trying to better themselves...just do it legally. I we don't control our own borders we will be destroyed. |

I agree. I live on a border city and I realize how much better the life is here than there, but the welfare and language thing is ridiculous. If people emigrate, they should be willing to adapt to the new country's language and customs. |

How you go about complaining of the children learning english and complaining of bilingual efforts that would be eliminated if following generation did learn english amuses me.
"Insisting on welfare" as if they're too lazy to have jobs. If they weren't taking the jobs you would not ever consider for insanely little pay they wouldn't be on welfare in the first place. Jobs they wouldn't be having if americans didn't go down to Mexico to pick them up to exploit them. They wouldn't be here without demand.
Dude chill out there has to be more to do with your day then make yourself angry. In at situation were a poor country is next to a better off one such things are going to occur. I'd hope we'd deal with it without killing innocent men, women, and children. But that's just me, you know, in valuing desperate people's lives and silly stuff like that. Damn my hippie ways!

That's a good question, when pressed against the wall I would be forced to say stop the mexicans, even if it means putting up machine gun nests along our border. Our country already has an overpopulation problem. I mean the last thing we need is to have a billion people (like China) lowering our standards of living to the bare minimum. However if I was a Mexican I would do all I could to infiltrate the U.S. and heaven yes bring my tradition with me. However, if I held a grudge as long of my fellow southerners do against the yankees in the War Between the States, than my question would be this. Arn't the Mexicans just getting thier payback for the last war that we slaughtered them on? Or did we liberate them as well? It always get's me that so many Americans think we just waltz into countries and start throwing out a helping hand. African Americans, Native Americans, Mexicans and now the Middle East. Sorry ladies and gentlmen our record is not that clean. Land of Justice? Yeah, maybe my guns justice! |

The only thing that would happen if Americans (notice I didnt say WHITE) tried that in Mexico is that Mexico would actually enforce their immigration laws, something we here in America find to be quite impossible!! Why should we be angry at them for doing something we cannot find the b*lls to do here?! |

There are a lot of white Americans moving to Mexico. Although they don't try to vote there, they are getting street signs in English as well as Spanish and they do quietly celebrate the 4th of July. I suspect some of them have become legal Mexican citizens.
That brings me to my question. Why don't we bring Mexico into the Union as the 51st state? |

Mexico is very hypocritical. They expect America to accept all of their citizens who unlawfully cross the border, and at the same time, they have the strictest immigrations laws in the western hemisphere. |

The American government should be enforcing it's immigration laws by whatever means necessary.
The people are tired of supporting the illegals and their families in Mexico.

Mexico does not need a reason to deport people who have become Mexican citizens, much less people pouring over their borders! There would be so much slaughter that we would lose count! Why should we bare the burden of taking care of their poor? We have enough poor in our country! Our own people are in need of services and we are giving them away to people who are not Americans and who disrespect our country and flag! Send them all home! Let them go back right away! Mass deportation is what we need and we need a leader who has enough gumption to tell them to get out! If they don't, hunt them down and escort them out! Give those who refuse to leave a ban on ever getting back into the country legally! Get them out NOW! |
