Hawaii where I now live.
I have been all over the US and lived in 10 states.
Alaska would be my second choice.. the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, in the summer when the sun never really sets. |

If you like subway and Broadway, choose New York.
If you like airport and wind, choose Chicago.
If you like political jokes, choose Washington DC.
If you like movies and Hollywood, choose Los Angeles.
If you like horses and land, choose Montana.
If you like Lobster and sea, choose Maine.
If you like driving and speeding, choose Texas.
If you are gay and like to get married, choose Massachusetts.
If you like skiing and mountains, choose Colorado.
If you like big potatos, choose Idaho.
If you like orange juice, choose Florida.
If you like to live a dull life, stay where you are, I bet it is not America.
If you like Internet and Yahoo Answer, it doesn't matter where you live. |

Lived there for about eight months in 2001-2002.
I wouldn't repeat the experience, even though as a researcher I'd get paid more money in the USA. I'm sorry, but your country is sick with hatred and I much rather live in a country where people are nice to each other and not obsessed with the color of someone's skin.
I live in Canada now. |

Oklahoma!!! We have it all. Mountains, plains, desert, and more shoreline than any lower 48 states. We have tornadoes, snowstorms, blizzards, floods, heat, humidity, dust on occasion, tollroads, fast lanes, fast women, good food. We have okra, grits, turnip greens, and ham hocks. We have the most beautiful women in the world. The last two Miss Americas are from Oklahoma. We have conservatives, liberals, Bible thumpers, Amish, and a whole lot of Baptists. We have the OU Sooners, the OSU Cowboys, and the Tulsa Hurricanes. We have friday night football. We have the friendliest people in the world. If you came to visit, we would treat you so many different ways, youre bound to like one of them. |

Arizona because it reminds me of australia's outback. There is also lots of open space. Absolutely gorgeous state with such a diverse range of landscape and climate. Totally overlooked and underated by many americans who have never been there to see its beauty. |

I wouldn't like to live in America (I presume you mean US), but I'd like to spend a few months in New York City to see with my own eyes that it is a city that never sleeps. And while I'd be there, I'd visit Florida too. |

I'd rather have my brains pulled out my nose with a knitting needle than live in America. I'm far too slim, anyway - would get stared at on the street. |
