Start by Fining ALL the employers who don't want to meet the LEGAL minimum wage and LABOR LAWS by hiring ILLEGAL ALIENS. Force them to pay the costs for deporting them.
THEN you will see MANY Americans jump at the chance to go to work. |

oh lord.... you have so much learning to do-and I think you are being brainwashed... ok.. to be an American Citizen, you have to by law pay taxes... so therefore yes if an American has that job they would have to be paid decent in order to have enough money to support their family in their country... I'm looking for a job.. I would go work out in the fields.. but I have yet to see an ad for picking fruit or anything else.. because the employers would rather hire illegal immigrants because they don't have to pay them decent wages or give them health benefits.. so where does that leave me as an American Citizen... without a job... so yes illegal immigration does hurt Americans Citizens |

Anyone who is in the US illegally should go out. Any workers that are needed should come in legally through easy immigration procedures that are not in place right now, that's why the US is getting the worst possible immigration, because anyone who is not willing to break the law is left outside. |

Well I know plenty of americans who get paid less then 20 dollars and hour. Yep there are plenty of people who would take those jobs and not be payed 20 dollars an hour. But shoot I don't think that anybody with do it for 3 dollars an hour. You know what thier pay rate is? Do it even make minium wage. |

That's the whole point.
This "issue" has come up again because there are so many other economic and political disasters happening right now, government needs to divert attention. The anti-immigrant tirade works so well when people are scared as heck about how they're going to keep making a living, with all the good jobs going overseas. Immigrants are the classic scapegoat.
Our economy couldn't handle paying farmworkers decent wages in our current state, and it won't, as long as we can get the cheap labor. |
