A person that has Tax ID and paid all taxes for income and has all documentation that proves such, also has a valid driver's license... Can they be deported?

Since your visa had already expired, you could get deported.
But this is America, u just join the other 12 millions illegals, in which 1/3 have valid visa when they enter but stay here illegally after their visas expired. |

yes. tourist should adhere to the validity of their visa, abide by the terms and conditions of admission as specified upon its issuance, if you respect the law, you are able to return without problem.
how does that person got tax id and driver's license if they are holding a tourist visa stamped on their passport?usually they are prohibited to work due to their tourist status, it is temporary admission, not a permanent one. plus, before you get a license, you have to show legal documents such as social security and passport, dmv now is very strict without proper documentation.
my advise, that person should apply for an extension to better his status cause if that person disobey the law, either he will be deported and will be banned to return in the usa or remain illegal that constantly watching their back?..... |

You're expected to leave at the expiration
of your visa, including the renewal.
The mere possession of those documents you mentioned
do not per se mean legal residency. Only possession of the Green Card can serve as a covering against deportation. |

Yes. The only reason they were allowed in was on a tourist visa. There was an expiration date. It's past.
They were legal until the expiration date. Now they are illegal. Is that such a hard concept to understand? |

no. if your visa is in good standing (meaning not expired) you are considered a legal immigrant. if 'over extend' means expired, then you can be deported, if they locate you. |

Yes. If the visa ended, so did your right to stay. This is a problem being discussed with the guest worker program, in fact. Since so many people didn't leave when their visas ran out, people are wondering why they think guest workers will leave when it is time to leave. People are trying to think of ways to enforce it better, going forward. |

Your are "out of status" the minute you work while on a tourist visa. So yes, you are illegal. Tourist visas have been the easiest way to get in over the years. Just get in as a tourist and disappear among the 300 million population and start working. Then, based on your good "work" you argue that you are not illegal. You are illegal. |

Yes, and depending on the country they are from, they may sit in a US jail for a while waiting to be deported. I have an Australian friend who sat in jail for 3 months, waiting to be sent back - and now is banned from the US and his fiancee here for 5 years. |
