You know if you were extradited or whatever? If you could go anywhere? (But you would have to live there for the rest of your life?) Or if you had the money would you go there to live anyway?

i'm quite happy with england. But if i had to, i'd probably go to austrailia or new zealand because me of the climate and scenery, or america because its nearest culturally to britain. |

I live in the US at present but I'm a dual citizen with Ireland, I have an indefinite right to remain in the UK, and a ARC for the ROC. so I guess it would be one of the above! |

This is a question that would invite biased answers. Where a person thinks is the best place to live is culturally biased based on their background. You may not feel the same once you have gone there. Personally, I think the U.S. is the greatest place on earth. No where in the world where is law and order as the U.S. has. No where on earth would you find a system where by you can work your way up from poverty to riches. My family experienced this ourselves when we escape Vietnam in the early 1980's.
There is no truth more than the song, "God Bless the USA" when it said:
"And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free."
Embrace what you have myfriend. There is no place on earth like it is in the USA. That is why I became an immigration lawyer, and assist people realizing their dreams by coming to the U.S. and becoming a U.S. citizen.
If I have to move outside of the U.S., however, I would want to go where I feel like home, Vietnam. If you don't believe me, ask Anthony Bourdain, host of "No Reservation."
