if you have being discriminated against by an employer denying you a position/promotion and given it to someone who is white and with same qualification as you, do you need to proof what damage that has being done to you before filing a compliant against the employer

Of course, you need proof of discrimination. I would tread lightly there if you already have a position with the company you are speaking of as they can let you go for any reason they deem.
