Good, in a time of rough economy we need money from labor. The more workers the better.
as for the 10 billion dollars a year theory for california. that is a debunked lie.
Also hospitals being bankrupt is partly due to illegals using services, but Americans are the majority that use services and not pay
Illegal Immigrants give an average of 2 billion dollars net gain AFTER DECLINING the negatives. |

benefits none in my opinoin. But for some, labor below minimum wage and fair market value. Negatives are they get hurt and recieve free health care at taxpayers expenses. Dangerous work practices, and dangerous for those who dont speak spanish. The language barrier is getting dangerous and fuels anger and retaiation. |

Good thing that illigal immigrants work
They pick up the produce grapes apples oranges strawberries lettuce tomatoes. you name it thanks to those illegals i have my fruits and veggies!
They clean houses i mean why the hell would i want to clean my house when i can pay an illegal 20 bucks to clean my house?
Cheap labor. illegals are also gardeners so i dont have to get all dirty or muddy. no need to moan the lawn because they'll do it for the cheapest price.
Why take care of my own kids when i can pay someone else to take care of them for a cheap price? ill get me a mexican nanny pay her 8 bucks an hour and i dont need to be taking care of my kid.
Life is easy with illegals working
but fortunately im not white i wont need the service u crave for |

Hi Steven J,
I understand your frustration, but you are falling right into the corporate trap of shifting the blame. Here's how.
You are essentially blaming illegal immigrants for the companies deciding to pay their workers less. Why not blame the companies who decided to screw the American worker?
When placing blame, you have two options. One, you can blame the immigrant who works hard, and is really doing this so he can better his or her life, and the life of their family (something every human being would do).
Two, blame the companies who are hiring these workers to cut costs.
When faced with that choice, it seems every American chooses to vilify the immigrant, and that is exactly what big business wants you to do.
Yes I know that they are here illegally, but last time I checked they are still humans, not aliens, as they are so inappropriately named.
At the risk of sounding sanctimonious, we all need to start showing a little compassion for our fellow humans, regardless of what side of a fictitious border they live on.

good thing that illegals are here to work the Americans shore don't wont to do the dirty job that the illegals are doing i am a american and i work in the Fields just like they do so fi they weren't here most americans would not eat come summer the fields will rot if we keep sending them back so it is good |

Bad, they ruin all the gains that the American workers fought for.
We should not have to live in such crampted apartments because of such low wages paid to the illegals who keep working cheaper and cheaper.
They march for benefits they did not earn. The police/i.n.s. should have rounded them up.
They should have the rights Mexico gives foreign workers, none! If a Mexican wants a job in Mexico no foreign worker can take it.The Mexican Government does its best to stop South American and other illegal from going through Mexico to come to the U.S. for work. But writes pamphlets helping Mexican Illegals to cross into the U.S. for work. |

Here are some negatives:
1. They don't pay taxes
2. Many send most of there money back to their country boosting their economy versus ours. Whereas Citizens work here, spend here, and live here.
3. Use our services, Hospitals, Roads, etc. Hospitals have gone bankrupt due to Illegals using their services and not paying.
4. Califonia alone spends 10 billion dollars a year on Illegal services
5. Crime, around 30% of people incarcerated in California are Illegals, that cost's a lot!
6. The census bureau said that on average each illegal family cost's the US government around $2,500 more then they contribute to our Country.
7. Illegals also bring our school system's down because schools get funding for their rating's and schools with students who can't read, speak, write well in English bring our schools way down.
8. Hard for American's to get jobs, half the jobs I see require you to be bilingual is Spanish.
9. Also having an influx of one group of immigrants (mexican/latin american) brings an imbalance, plus the majority of the people who illegally come over here are the lowest class of people so what they bring to our country is a lot less then educated immigrants. By saying the lowest class I mean uneducated in even their own country (people who can't read or write their own language)
Those are just some of the reasons that come to mind...
Some of the "positives" would be that peopel are able to exploit them and use them as modern day slaves. Paying people less then average wages is unethical. Positives would also be for the people who take our jobs, earn money, and send US money back to their families.
NUTTY 23- So if your going to tell me that the news and the US Census Bureau, News Week, and a few books I have read have been debunked please show me your proof!
I am 100% certain the 10 billion dollar's california spends has not been debunked and as for hospitals, you are very wrong.
Here is one article that also says California spends 10 billion a year (there were many others if 1 isn't enough)
http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/immigrationnaturalizatio/a/caillegals.htm
And here's another article that proves my Hospital Bankruptcy point:
http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/000060.html
There were also many other articles about other hospitals too.
Hey I just heard a new stat, that atleast 10% of CA workforce is illegal and what do you know so is our unemployment rate, now tell me that us "US CITIZENS" don't want those jobs... |
