I have a veryyy important question !!
My boyfriend is an illegal immigrant, who stayed here after his visa expired. He was stopped by a cop a couple of days ago and was brought to a detention center...where withing three days immigration is going to pick him up, and then he gets deported. My question is what can I do so he can stay here ??? How to I open a case with immigration ? Or what can i do ? Specifics would be greatly appreciated. This is serious so please if you can help, let me know anything that might be helpful. thanks !!!

You could marry him, but they might still not see it as valid. Go to immigration and ask. Why didn't he renew his visa? |

well it happened to my friend and he was deported and i could do nothing about it

He could hire an attorney, but there is nothing you can do to help besides contacting an attorney on his behalf and paying a retainer so they would go to consult with him. If you were married prior to his detainment, you would have some basis to petition for him.
Following deportation, should you marry him, then you can apply to petition him which will require a waiver during the process and would be successful if you could prove hardship to you. |

Oh by the way...he will Never be allowed
back in ever again...he will never be issued
any type of Visa...as he cannot be trusted...
He is now a Criminal for Life...
