its ILLEGAL therefore wrong. its unfair that they get to use our sources and get our benefits by cheating. the ones who immigrate legally go through a lot, proving they deserve to immigrate. and the illegal immigrants prevent them from being able to immigrate often, which is really wrong.

its bull crap... we should ship them all out (obama's aunt should be the first). there taking jobs we REALLY need now the goverment is even giving them work permits for testifying agisnt the employers that hired them! their getting into schools for free and free health care. they got more benifets then actuall americans have. i live in louisiana 10 minutes away from new orleans and they are everywhere!!! i had a lawn care business but now these immagrants are begining to move in on my job! after hurrican katrina they took every single job fixing the damage! (drywall gutting homes stuff like) now i need a translation book to fill my gas tank or to go to shop at walmart its awful!

I think we should set land minds at the border and blow all those F*****s up. It pisses me off that they walk in this country and work here tax free when the rest of us are paying tons of taxes to support them. It's just not right, and on top of that the liberal pansies don't even wan2 do what's right and deport them! If i was director of homeland defense I would build a huge fence with land minds and military check points.

I am so tired of illegals. They come over here, take our jobs, take our AMERICAN MONEY, and then send it back to THEIR country. Hmmmm, I wonder why our economy is in such bad shape. Its bad enough that nothing is manufactured here, so any money that we Americans make, automatically gets sent to China or Mexico. I don't know about anyone else, but I think it would be nice if we could spend our hard earned money to support American companies therefor creating more AMERICAN jobs for LEGAL CITIZENS!

I think that illegal immigration is terrible. Because if the people that immigrate to the United States (or any other developed country) they'll just be making the US's culture like theirs. I.E. to lie, cheat, and steal from other people.

Send them back. Now some people that answered this question have said we should feel sorry for them. It is not the US's problem to fix Mexicos financial woes. I do not see Mexico tell the UAW union to send it's layed off workers down there to help us out. You have to undestand we have borders. When you cross the border with out your paper work you are breaking the law. That is why we call them illegal aliens. Now you are saying they only take jobs we do not want that is incorrect. I have seen illegals working high steel, concrete finishers, welders, crane operators, and many other skilled labor jobs many American workers would love to have. I do not feel sorry for them. If they want to come to the United States than get your VISA until then stay home. The United States can not solve the worlds problems and it is not right that towns in Mexico whole income comes from illegals sending money back home to Mexico. Like I said earlier let Mexico solve it's own problems. If the illegal aliens would put in as much effort at home as they do trying to get across the border then maybe Mexico would be a better place to live. I know it would be better for us.

i don't think that Obama has been in office long enough to blame the collapse of the economy on him. in fact i would say many argue it was his predecessor.

Anyway, you cant deport 12mill people out of this country, that would take up so much more resources and money just to do that we would be worse off.
What burden do they create exactly? You fail to provide examples.

Americans are losing jobs duh. But they stay jobless because they don't want to take the jobs that the illegals are. If they really wanted a job they would do what the illegals are doing, but they don't. they want to be paid 10 an hour at least. Because Americans are picky and they think they deserve more, when in fact they really don't deserve more than the next American or illegal. What I'm saying is that everyone is equal and if they want a job, then get a job and work your way up.

We're a humans, it's sad to see how many people have lost sight of that. If you were to spend the life that these people experienced back at their home you would understand why they came to the US.

What I dont understand is that as a citizen I can't even get away with not wearing my seatbelt or throwing a piece of litter on the ground, but then illegals can walk around like they own the place and nothing happens to them even though they're ILLEGAL lol

Well I know one thing, they sure as hell know how to smuggle drugs and that's ok with me. You can't act like "we the people" have any control over them getting jobs here. people like cheap labor and its not like their actual taking good paying jobs that you would even care about. Most of them get paid less then minimum wage because they don't even know Noire care what minimum wage is. If they're getting paid more then minimum wage then it's because they are in the mexican drug cartel and that's awesome for "we the people". If it weren't for the good drugs...man but seriously though to the point. I don't think they should be here either but they do a decent job cutting grass and bushes and it only costs a quarter an hour so how can you complain. They have nothing back where they live man. a) The taxes the illegal immigrants pay and don't collect actually help Social Security and Medicare stay a float. Those same taxes also helps citizens get retirement checks every month to.

Well I live in Texas so I see immigrants on a daily basis. I am also friends with quite a few. Its sad because the conditions they live in and the corruption they deal with while trying to take care of their families is horrific. I certainly am not for paying all their expenses while they are here but I can't sit back and watch them suffer. You have to remember that they come here for the American dream, not even really just to be able to feed their families and survive. It makes me sad, and I know that the same thing is going on in our country but I can't turn my back on all those people. Did you know that mexican nationals that come here to shop are given back all the sales tax they paid when they were here? Maybe the government should rethink some of their policies and we wouldn't have to pay their medical expenses with our money. I don't know how to explain it but its different when you see it in real life and hear their stories first hand.
