here in ga, $100 bucks gets them a fake social security card, drivers license and birth certificate....also do a web search for fake i.d.'s its amazing all the sites that offer them and all from the convenience of your home...they will be sent directly to you ! amazing isn't it?and sad.

john mccaine said if they get your ID they should be allowed to get your social security too so a drivers license is nothing. Mostly because limp wristed politicians will not enforce the law on these people and others don't see it covered by the "letter of the law" so they won't prevent it either.

Who says they are getting licenses? There are tons of people on the road driving without a license (whether they never had one, or it's been suspended or revoked). They're willing to take the risk of being stopped, to get where they need/want to go.

Some states let them get licenses so they can have insurance because they drive anyhow. Some don't, but used to, and they are still in a 'renewal by mail' period.

Some drive without them. Some get fakes.

Why can't they drive?I assume they are competent of knowing the basics of driving.True,it's harder now to get a license if you are illegal,I'm not sure if you need a ss# or not.But my husband has his license and he's illegal.But he took his legal ss# with him when he got his.He also had to bring proof of where he lives and his original birthcertificate.But no greencard.His uncles also have their licenses and I know they have no ss#.I don't know,I'll have to ask them.But I'd rather have an illegal with a license and insurance hit my car than one without,wouldn't you?

Either fake documentation or just drive someone's car. You don't a license to drive. You need registration, insurance and license to drive only if you get caught
