If only I had known that it was my valid social security card that was causing me to be taxed. Had I known, I would have used a fake #, like most illegals, and they wouldn't withold any taxes from my check.

I can avoid sales tax that way too. Next time I'm charged sales tax, I'll tell the clerk I'm an illegal alien, and they will refund my money.

Well they do pay taxes on the things they buy in stores. So they do pay SOME taxes. Afterall, you can't walk into McDonalds & say, "oh by the way, I'm an illegal so don't charge me tax on the food." Can they? Nope. Oh well I know what your getting at though....... but I don't wish to agree, nor disagree. I'm blissfully neutral on this issue right now.

Why ask a question you know nothing about.Of course we do have real social security cards they are not fake!! Up until 9/11 all you had to do was apply for a SSN, say you needed it to obtain a driving licence ... and so we do pay taxes just like everyone else.We have been to Washington twice lobbying for immigration reform, we have been listened to.We have explained how we pay our taxes.
Those of us without SSN s use a tax ID number to pay taxes.If you have a tax ID no , it will eventually become your SSN.
So we will get our green cards, we have friends in high places.

your family wasent always here,so at one point even your own family was here illegaly....but you dont have anything to say about that do you,hell know not if it makes you or your family look bad...but you like it or not thats the truth. Yes illegals do pay taxes' it is taken out of there checks. Now what the people do with the taxes' that they work for who knows and that is what started all of the problems with what is going on with Illegals. And do you know how many of them that come here illegal and they go to lawyers' that are getting them the social security numbers' so they at least were trying to do something. Am i a illegal supporter? well that depends on what you are calling a supporter' Do i believe that the ones who has tried to do things right got screwed.. UM, then i guess you can say that i am in that terms,

you want to whine about somthing - fine call up George Bush and tell him you want all that tax payers money back that paid Bin Ladens family that was here when 911 happened - he got all of there family (24 or so) members plus some saudi family members too - he got them all on 1st class jets to fly out the day after - when we had that no fly and all planes grounded at that time - so go cry to this republican you voted for about youre taxes

Some clearly don't pay taxes-- e.g. they're paid "under the table in cash"

Some DO pay taxes - They use fake SS numbers and ID but they do actually pay taxes. The kicker is that they cannot ever collect on the soc sec.

Also, given that a great many don't make much money, they're not paying much in taxes anyway.

And of course, if they BUY anything, they're paying sales taxes.

yay! finally someone who has a brain. do you know in Phoenix cops cant arrest an illegal unless they commit a felony a police officer gave me his explanation "that it could make the country unsafe because if a man was raping an illegal they wouldnt call the police" if that is a legitimate law shouldnt we not arrest people with outstanding warrents because if somebody raped them they wouldnt call the police? also the children of illegals get public education even though they are here ILLEGALY a CRIME. maybe we should also just give all of the murderers guns too.

Some illegals pay taxes either on stolen or fake SS#s or on SS#s given for an expired visa (for overstays). Most don't pay taxes.

However, if taxes covered their services we wouldn't have limits on poor immigrants to begin with. Poor people simply don't pay much taxes, certainly not enough to touch the cost of expensive services like school and health care. THAT is why there are limits on immigration that need to be enforced.

This could be handled by an employers tax. I guess that's what you could call it.. when you make payroll.. you deduct an amount. sounds bad. But if you are looking for an answer to that question... That's it.

The field workers are considered self employed so NO TAXES taken out.THey get to cash their check and walk away.They don't own anything because we give them their freaking housing and food stampos and health care.
At least where I live they do.

The best solution to the Tax thing is to change to the fair tax. www.fairtax.com This will force everyone to pay their fair share, doesn't matter if you are a drug dealer, or any other black market dealer. If you have never heard of the fair-tax you need to check it out! and support it, It makes sense!

I am afraid they do its called payroll tax and their Employer is supose to with hold it.
And they pay tax any time they spend that money double taxation on every dollar.
And they pay in to Social security, money they will never see why dont you ask the GAO where all that money goes, Its called a surplus.
So thats triple taxation!
