Illegal immigration...Why kick them out?

Because that's the remedy for invaders. Would you allow a burgler in your house to stay? Even if they were just looking for a better life for their family? At the expense of your family? No you wouldn't. It's your house, you're paying for it, you're in it legally, and your family's wellbeing should take precedence in your own home over someone else's family.

I was born and raised in a border town and I have witnessed firsthand the destruction these illegal invaders have wrought upon my once beautiful and peaceful city - which VASTLY outnumbers any good that any of them might have done.

They simply should not be here. Their very presence in this country should not be tolerated no matter what. The 1986 amnesty was the biggest make ever and the beginning of the destruction of this city. No one should be awarded for breaking the law and the law should be unquestionably enforced.

The health and safety of legal citizens - which should be the number one priority of a country in which those citizens pay taxes - depends upon it.

EDIT: And I'd happily give up strawberries in exchange for safe canyons, less crime, more and cheaper housing, less traffic, less unemployment (they've taken over the well-paying construction jobs in my city so legitimate workers are trapped on unemployment), and much more peace. The day of that massive illegal immigrant protest was the way things SHOULD be every day - very little traffic, quiet streets, uncrowded stores - it was AWESOME. Get them out so we can go back to that every day!

I know in the UK it's a problem as they get benefits (free money) from the government and free health care.

It seems as if you do not live in California. Illegal aliens have put the state in debt to the tune of about 20 billion dollars with free medical free schooling foodstamps and free housing. And if you say anything about the invasion, you are labeled a racist. Kick them out all of them.

Many Illegal Immigrants are using our welfare , food stamps and health care that we pay for and in most cases can't even get ourselves.I know they work the menial jobs, mostly farm workers, but there are people who have been waiting for years to get into this country legally, why let illegals in and the honest people wait? We are a country of laws meant to protect all, and it is against the law to be in this country illegally, whether you like it or not, that's the law.

Why arrest criminals? Why have any laws at all if they aren't enforced? Why even have a country? The standard of living will fall dramatically if we allow all the poor people in the world to move here. If you want to live in Bangladesh, go there, don't turn this country into it.

Before physically kicking them out, first we need to:
1. End birthright citizenship.
2. No public educations for illegals.
3. Illegals give up any chance of ever becoming a citizen.
4. Hold entire families accountable for criminals in their house.

Do some of these things, for starters, then they will leave on their own.

What part of "illegal" don't you understand? These people have broken the law. Many of them come to the US, abandoning their families and are not invested in becoming a member of our society. They milk it for all it's worth by continuing to break the law (illegal social security numbers and falsified documents, like green cards and drivers' licenses), use our healthcare system, our
public services (fire, police, prisons, and schools), and more often than not don't pay taxes. The ones where I live violate fire codes by living 20 to a garage with no plumbing/sanitation, and no running water. They commit crimes and take up space in our jail. The police are aways running after them, diverting resources from the LEGAL population.
There is already a route to legal immigration, and illegal aliens choose not to use it. What gives these people the right to flaut our laws?
I say deport them and use prison inmates to do the agricultural work, instead. That way, the farmers will get even cheaper labor and it would infuse more money into our penal system.

First of all---20% of the prisoners in US Prisons are Illegals.
That is a lot of tax money going to feed and house people who have been caught stealing, robbing and murdering American citizens.

Second---illegal immigrants are not medically screened upon entering the country--resistant strains of TB, and other diseases--leprosy--long since done away with in the US are now being found in schools around the country.

Third--illegal immigration causes WAGE deflation in the communities they get jobs in.

After all why should a landscaper or cleaning company have to pay minimum wage to some American--when the illegal will work for less than minimum wage to feed his family.

So it trickles up--carpenters, plumbers, drywallers, bricklayers.--all small business trying to compete now have to compete with competition that does not have to meet minimum requirements for minimum wage so they can't pay their people more. SO WAGE DEFLATION.

Fourth, EMERGENCY rooms are overflowing with people who can't pay insurance---so the hospitals charge more to those that are insured--even though those people receive no benefits.

Fifth--schools are now overflowing with students--hurting student to teacher ratios. and on top of that many children of illegals don't speak english--so bilingual teaches must be hired to teach them.

Sixth--illegals send money out of the communities and the USA to support their families in third world countries--IN MEXICO--this is the third largest source of INCOME for the country behind OIL and TOURISM.

Seventh--Those illegals that do manage to get jobs with larger companies have to steal identities of US citizens--providing a black market for IDENTITY THEFT.--

The problem is that the world is overpopulated and economically imballanced. So the poor want to come here. Problem is, most don't want to come here because they love the USA, they want to come here, make money and take it back where they came from. The other problem is they will work for cheap in order to survive. These things are not "wrong" in themselves. If I were living in poverty in Mexico or El Salvador or China, I'd try to get here too.
But the problem HERE is: cheap labor, be it cleaning houses or driving trucks or building houses, etc etc etc drives the wages of ALL working people down while drivng the cost of living up. More people, more services needed, less rentals availbable, etc etc etc. Translation: Lifestyle,even a low cost lifestyle, is getting harder to maintain.
The birth rate of Anglos here is way down. The birth rate of Latinos is going down but not nearly as much. So where our populations are reaching saturation the illegals are pumping those numbers up. Translation: More polluiton, more crime, lower wages.
Many illegals come here with unrealistic expectations. Many, not all, don't understand the value of education and consequently end up on survival mode. Menwhile their kids grow up in gangs and many end up in jail and otherwise being a negative force in society - NOT because they're Latino, but because they are poor and don't understand how to make a good life in this culture.
Then there is the basic deal about LAW. Why should someone who comes here illegally be allowed to stay here? In any other country in the world, if you enter illegally, they deport you right away no matter what country you came from.

Many immigrants have come here legally and some illegally, who want to be Americans and have contributed to the society and communities they live in. Other than the population problems, I welcome these people (But not illegals) and accept them as they accept me. They are proud of their heritages, but they consider themselves Americans. More than guns and bombs, this makes our country strong. But people who come here only to take and not give back or be a part of our culture, weaken our country.
That's my quicky take on things.

If somebody would like to come to the united states it should be done legally. Maybe if it took a week to get a visa instead of so many years and if the immigrants were paid what every other american make, maybe by doing this they could pay tsxes. since that is the big gripe always talked about when this subject is mentioned. If someone decideds to live here maybe if they were given the chance they could sell what little land they have in thier primary country and use the funds to start a new life in the us. I am sure alot of the people that cross the border are doing it because they have no other choice. If I had to feed my family I would do the same. I dont think tossing people out like garbage is the answer. but for us legal american s its either all or nothing. Demand to be paid equally so other people dont become mad because you decide to take less pay so you get the job. its a catch 22. finally, in my own personal opinion treat others as you would want to, regardless of race, religion, color economic level. what comes around goes around. and this saying doesnt always mean negativity either. Personally I rather have immigrants from other countries who are hard workers and have families here, than the rapists, muderers and pediophiles. I would worry about these fools not the people crossing the border.

The facts are in but the teenage children of illegals refuse to accept them. I understand parental loyalty to a point, but if my parents were breaking the law, sooner or later I would have to deal with it.

We don't need to deport all illegals just the ones that come into contact with law enforcement, fake SSN, other fake documents etc. The rest will self deport once the border is secure and they can't come and go as they please.

If you really want to stop illegal immigration is very easy and simple. You do not need to build a wall, you do need to deport the 12 to 20 million people you do not need to stop giving drivers licenses to them.

What we need to do is to punish the people that hire undocumented workers.

The immigration problems is not going to be solve in the supply part, but in the demand part. Just like drugs. Nobody force people to take drugs but people do it. same with immigration nobody forces the employeers to hire undocumented workers but they do(for monetary reson).

Kicking them out or trying to would be a very expensive, ineffective and brutal process. If you are willing to solve the problem, which is hard to get our legislators to really do, they need to focus on getting rid of free services such as medical care at the hands of taxpayers' money. Another practice is to establish an enforcement agency that makes sure that illegal immigrants are not hired for cheap labor in any form. I do support the idea of work permits however, for if we have a hole to fill in employment after most Americans who are looking for employment have been employed. I really believe one major obstacle to this end is our economic system. It is dependent on expansion to survive and we are running out of room to expand - which is now global Capitalism. We must adjust our economic system and the world's if we want an end to burdensome immigration

We all know the true Story behind Immigrations. Deporting these Human Beings isn't going to solve anything. What is it doing so far. We see this right now while many has already been Deported. I was just on MSN and right there on the Front Page. Corn Crops Farmers has not started Growing the Crop yet, Food Prices are expected to go "Higher". So what is the real meaning of all of this. We know the story.
