Illegal immigration essay questions?

I am writing a persuasive speech on the bad effects on the United States because of illegal immigration... i have found plenty of things relating to job losses and healthcare, but i can't seem to find anything on education. I know there is something out there because i have seen information, just not enough to write a paper... can anyone give me some legitimate information or websites i can go to in order to help me with this paper? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.

As a public school teacher in California, I can tell you first hand that Illegals arrive knowing how to take advantage of every possible social program they can get their hands on. As the law stands, any illegal who has a baby born in the USA, entitles that Anchor Baby eligibility for foodstanps, welfare, free hospitalization for birth and pediatric visits as well as placement into taxpayer funded schools with a free breakfast and lunch program.

While all that seems ideal, it is anything but for the American children who must sit and wait for these non-English speaking kids to catch up. That is where I come in. No Cali. teacher can be hired unless she is Bi-lingual. That means speaking fluent Spanish. We cater to these kids who's parents show no interest acquiring skills in English since everything they need is now printed in Spanish or recorder enhanced to speak in spanish from banking, to social services, driver's license tests, and even school tests. Any Spanish speaking person in the USA is given preferential treatment. There are no such language advantages for the Indian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Brazilian (who speak Portugese) and all other immigrants.

Because of this, the education of American children born in the USA are a low priority. The total educational standards for testing and grading were lowered twice to accommodate the slower, struggling Latino/Hispanic kids who's numbers are growing at a frightening pace.

Get into the search engine and ask for 'illegal aliens education'. Also ask for 'illegal immigration education'.

The costs are staggering by the way. The State of California is going to wind up with 100 people in their classrooms if they don't get a break. But if the State of California votes to remove the illegal aliens, they won't need a break. It is on them.
