That all depends on where your mother is from. If she is an American, then any child that she gives birth to is American (assuming she gets the documentation). |

they wouldn't let a pregnant woman go to space, too many G's
way to make light of the issue |

She would be a US citizen if she was born on a US space ship.
Otherwise she could claim dual citizenship and have all rights and privileges of a citizen born in the unclaimed territory of space. |

I would assume that it would be the same as being born on international waters. If I'm not mistaken that means you become the nationality of the first country's space you enter. and I think that includes transportation. so it would be according to the ship you used to return from space. |

The child (like Virginia Dare - first white child born in America) would take the citizenship of the parents.
Just like the child of a US service person overseas! |

your sister might come back to earth with a lot of Citizenships?
15 countries participating in the International Space Station (ISS) project.
i say mother citizenship would pass down to her |

Good question . Space exploration is relatively new to us and we have never had to deal with a citizen of earth giving birth of planet. I was in the military and the law is a citizen of the us stationed over seas giving birth the baby is a us citizen.right now it is A mute point because I don't believe NASA would send A pregnant woman to the space station and stays are short enough that if she got pregnent there she would be home before birth |

If your mother was a US Citizen your sister would be too, if your mother filed the right paperwork.
However, note that the term 'alien' meant foreign national before science fiction developed as a genre. |

They would not allow it. Astronauts get thorough physical examinations before they go. If your mother were pregnant she would end up with an office job. |

you would need a work visa
and once were through with you
we'd boot you back into outer-space
then we would put up a seven trillion dollar space shield to keep you from coming back.
then the country would borrow more money from China to help us pay the bills. |
