ok well i am the child of the couple who filed the petition and it was filed by my grandparents who both have their citizenship and i am wondering because i want to go to college and go on with my life but this is holding me back to reach my full potential.

Your not making sense! If you are the child of the couple who filed the petition your parents filed the petition. Yet in the same sentence you state the petition was filed by your grandparents! Who filed the petition? Your parents or grandparents? Then answer the rest of the questions! |

Well, we'd need more information. when you say you applied in 2001, do you mean an I-130 immigrant petition was filed for you then, or something else? What sort of petition was filed for you? who filed it? how old are you? are you married or single. no one can give you an answer without any detail beyond what you've given us here.
