I came to America in 2000, with a visa. I've been going to school since 2nd grade and I am now in the 10th grade. My visa expired a while back, and im scared about going to college but being unable to pay it because my parents don't make much because they also are not citizens. My grades are good im a really smart guy and ahead of my class in mathematics. I'm bilingual and i have all the hope to learn as much as i can in this world, but it might be limited. So what else do i need to apply for a citizen, or a resident since its the first step. Help please.

yes my parents have been paying taxes the last 8 years.

Can you state what sort of visa where you on? I"m quite surpised your parents let you go out of status. Unless your parents are also out of status as well.
Since usually you are tied to your parents and your status also applies to them.
If your parents are not citizens then are they at least green card holders? If not do they have work authorization? One thing I will say, Your parents weren't very smart for letting your visa get expired. |

You are a minor, there is nothing you can do. Your parents may qualify for something, but I don't have enough information about them to know. A visa is a temporary permit to stay in the US, if your family has stayed longer than they were allowed and now has no legal status in the US, you could be in serious trouble.
