Immigrating to US from Canada, would my diploma be accepted?

I'm nineteen years old. Since I may be moving to the US and marrying my Fiance (I currently live in Ontario, Canada), I am wondering where I should go from here.

I was going to go to college for the Child and Youth Worker diploma (A Three Year Ontario College Advanced Diploma Program ), but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort? Should I just wait until I move to the US and become a citizen and pursue college there, or should I go to college here in Ontario while I'm still here? If I obtained my diploma here would it even be good in the US without having to recertify and everything?

I think you should keep attending your school for as long as you can. I believe that your training and completion of courses will count for something, if only credits towards any further education you may have to get once in the U.S. Canada has good schools, and I believe that most diplomas will be accepted.
