I have an immigration interview for permanent residence in about two weeks. Its based on a marriage petition, my husband is sponsoring me. We have a a two year old daughter and I was wondering if I would be allowed to bring her with us to the interview? Eventually I will call USCIS and ask, just wondering if anyone had any insight, Thanks.
Additional Details
Oh also I forgot to mention the petition is just for me, our daughter is a US citizen.

Of course you can bring her. Just make sure she is kept busy and doesn't ruin your interview or doesn't allow the interview to take place. I will actually be to your advantage to bring her that will only demonstrate that you are a real marriage which is what the officer will be looking for at the interview. Good Luck. |

Bringing her is a good idea, but make sure she will not interupt the interview, bring some toys to keep her busy. |
