I don't think you're being racist, just realist. You're quite right as an island we only have a finite amount of space to expand to. As you say long before we run out of places to build new houses our infrastructure can't cope and nor can our ability to feed ourselves, we end up borrowing more and more to but things we can no longer supply ourselves with and in a short while we become the thrid world country that people are trying to get away from.
Historically speaking we are seeing now the same seeds that were being sown in Germany pre-Hitler and the same seeds that have pre-dated so many other civil wars both in the past and now around the world.

Wow, you are so right, somthing does need to be done about immigration, what i say is we open the borders and let more people in. England is required to tak a percentage of asylam seekers inacordance with EU regulations, and to be fair we take in a much smaller percent than most of europe, not to mention the majority of peiople who come to england get sent back. Its sick.

What the hell gives me more right to live in the piece of land we call England just because i was born here? nothing, it is the biggest piece of bull arond. lets not forget that this country was built on immigration, not one person living on this island can truly say they are 100% british, due to the fact that we have been invaded so many times in the past and each time this countyr got better and greater, now why do you want to stop that from happening in the future?

Oh and as for the water, England is not in the middle of a water shortage, only the south, The north has far more water than they need, but there is not the pipes to bring it down in to the south. and lets not forget that the water companys have let the water storage and the pipe leak because they are too worried about their profits and dont fix things. what the govenment need to do is take back water, and then they can fix things without worring about profits.

I would like to know why Europeans came to this country and overpopulated it and ravaged its native people. They took it from the Indians without any regards to their land. The sad fact is immigrants have and will continue to flood here as you can get free health treatment for you and yours from our underfunded overstretched health service, you will get free housing, fully furnished with all you need and more all new stuff even TV's and free TV licence (we have to wait and see if we reach 75 before they waive this) we will also pay to get your windows cleaned, need a car just say you feel scared to walk the streets you think people are talking about you, as you or any of your family cant and dont want to speak english, hey presto a nice big cheque for a car even if you dont have a licence, council tax, electricity, gas and water bills the council will not put you on expensive meters like the rest of the poor brits putting them further and further in the poverty trap!
If you are a muslim HSBC bank will offer you special interest free motgages to buy council and housing assosiation homes (of which there is a great shortage),
and use your right to buy discounts as deposits, so you can buy our homes with out putting a penny down!
Get free fertility treatment on demand at Â£2700 a time getting seen 3 times quicker than us, and if your claim for asylum gets rejected part wat through treatment they must be able to stay untill treatment is complete, hey presto you got a kid with english nationality, some are doing just as an excuse to stay here!!
goverment are trying to push through tax breaks for muslim men for up to 4 wives, even though this is illegal for everybody else!
Our children will soon have to use the islamic blessing 'peace be upon him' after the muslim prophet mohammed every time they write his name in religious education or history lessons, this is to help swing votes and to appease those that want sharia laws in Britain!!

I don't object to immigration what I do object to is that they come in to this country and then are given benefits, health care and housing etc and this is then given to them for ever, there should be a system in place that they must learn the language and laws of the land and take up paid employment within a certain time or benefits stopped or reduced this is not racist because it happens in other countries and the people accept it as fact and follow the rules of that land, This would then ensure that only genuine people made the journey here in the first place and would want to pay something back to the country that has given them a safe refuge.

Tear down the boarder between the USA and Mexico and take over the country and made them another state added onto the U.S. .
This would cure the problem of illegal immigration and make the U.S.A. even bigger and stronger then it currently is. I think it would be a profitable idea. What do you think ?

It's not about racism, it's about the laws of the US. Whenever something doesn't go somebody's way, it's easy to yell racism. I'm not against immigration at all, just do it legally is all I care for.

Erm - I'm an immigrant, married to an Englishman. We married in my home country, where his family were the immigrants. So where would you put me? I hate to tell you this, but many countries are full of UK citizens. I know, because we resented them!
But I agree with you in some ways. I think illegal immigrants should be returned to their country. I think UK citizens should get priority and I think that the English are great - they bend over backwards to please other people. I try not to take advantage. Just for the record, my son is in the army - fighting for your country. My family are law - abiding, as I am. We pay taxes and contribute to this society.

Yes its time to stop immigration,however certain companies say they cannot get workers.I do not understand why there is jobs going begging & we have huge unemployment.Water is down to the water suppliers they do not fix leaks etc.I remember when the south sneered at Keilder dam,now they are happy to take the water.It was built to supply our steel works which were massacred under thatcher rule.

The problem is the people making the decisions are the ones we are paying big salary and pensions to. They can afford to leave when we get full. Its reality but only seems that the public understand that our politicians have no idea.

i say we take all the silly trailer white trash and ghetto ***** citizens of this country and deport them to antartica. to replace them, we then take only immigrants who are highly educated, who passed a rigorous exam in academics. the illegal hispanics can stay---we need them to mow our lawns.

Reality! We are a nation of laws and people should not be rewarded for breaking the law. Send everyone home who entered illegally and let them enter legally after reimbursing the government for the expense of returning them.

I moved to California only because my only family was transferred out there. I had to find myself a job, and after two years I finally got one. Oh, before you say hooray, there is only one problem, I only make half of what I made from where I came from. Oh there are jobs out there if you want min. wage and it is due to the fact that these illegal aliens will work for nothing, so in order to compete with them you must work for peanuts too.
Because I learned that if I asked for a decent wage, I was turned down flat. But ask for only the min. wage and you are in like Flinn. So you tell me if the state of the economy is so great, then why are there so many people working for these meager wages? And capitol hill couldn't care less about raising the min wage. Why should they when the rich can keep it all by hiring illegal aliens.

That is unfortunately very true ... England has become as PC as the United States ... if you open your mouth and try to protect your heritage, you're a racist ... if you object to your space being invaded by illegals, you're a racist ... England is small, and overpopulated as it is ... and neither the English nor the American government seems to be able to, or want to do, diddlysquat about it .... wouldn't it be nice to see governments actually representing their own people? My advice to you: GET OUT OF THE EU!!!

The real question is this: Are you a sovereign country and make your own laws, or are you without soverignty and subject to anything from anyone outside your borders?

You don't have to be born there to be a citizen. You do however, need to affirm your soveriegnty to keep the freedoms and rights you so easily are ready to give away.
