im looking for information on immigrating to Germany.
im 48 years old, and i have a skill trade..
how do i find out of my trade is acceptable, or what skill trades are allowed in demand
will i qualify ,how soon or long does it take too obtain papers too live /work there.
can anyone inform me a good starting point ,too look for work there.

The only way you get to qualify to live and work in Germany if someone offers you a job. If you not an EU citizen you find it hard getting jobs there. For example an employer has to advertise the job in all 27 EU countries before they take someone from outside the EU. He/She would have to prove that they couldn't get anyone from the 27 EU countries to fulfil the position. They would have to meet the criteria about employing non EEA/EU nationals.
