to simply hold one? no, I don't think that's illegal. using it is obviously a different matter. some entities print so-called passports from fictitious countries as well, like the Conch Republic, which is the island of Key West. It's not illegal to have one of those, just don't try to use it for travel. I'd say the same for a fake state id. If you're not using it, who would even know you had one. Using it to get a drink or cash a check obviously would be illegal. |

USA allows dual citizenship BUT when you enter USA you MUST show a US passport - so whatever other passport you have is irrelevent.
a FAKE PP is another matter - Usa doesnt care - but the country where you try to use it, will care. |

Fake state ID depends on the state, doesn't it.
Fake foreign passport, that you aren't actually presenting to anyone? On the surface of it, it would probably depend on whether or foreign passport is considered false identification... because we accept foreign passports, it might constitute it... but I have to ask, why have it if you aren't going to use it? If you are caught with it, its not like they will play coy and act like they don't know why you have it... you'd better have a good excuse thought up... a better bet would be a foreign drivers license, as those seem less likely to enjoy protection as we don't usually accept them as ID. |
