Some work harder. Some don't work as hard. Every illegal immigrant isn't the same. |

I, in fact, do think that illegal immigrants work harder. For one, they work harder at dodging paying taxes, second, they work harder at taking jobs that American citizens deserve, and lastly, they work harder at getting assistance from the state/govt that we who work everyday fail to get. |

Work "harder" at what? Doing crimes and such, I'd have to give a resounding, "Yes!". |

.I think it totally depends on the persons own work ethic.
There are lazy legal citizens and there are lazy illegal aliens. Not all are inherently one or the other. |

F no they have perfected the art of acting busy and overworked when they have been little or nothing all day
ever wonder why they get 8 mexicans to clean 1 one acre lot
ask a stupid question get a stupid answer,, but there is a ribbon of truth in it, hispanic illegals are pity mongers for sure |

some just sit on their ***, drunk tequila, get welfare, or join gangs
but some do the hardest, dirtiestm grueling work for next to nothing
my friend knows some illegals who work 106 hours a week for $500 under the table |

I think it depends on the individual that is working. Some legal people work hard and then again some don't work. |

Why not ask if blonde women use more motor oil than green frogs? The problem with you and most people is you tend to paint with a very large brush!
Are there lazy American workers.....sure. Are there lazy Mexican workers....sure. The problem lies with the fact that a large portion to the Mexican workers are here illegally. |

IF THEY DID THEY WOULD BE JUST AS RICH AS AMERICANS AND THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO COME HERE FOR WELFARE. |

No, and I have experience working with them. Cleaning MOTEL rooms. A job citizens WON'T do. Everytime a white or black room checker would tell them to reclean something or that they forgot some room supplies, they would laugh and tell her "You do it!" The management wouldn't do anything because they mostly had illegal hispanics working there and they were afraid of pissing them all off. How do I know they were illegal? Why else would they all be hiding in a locked motel room (hidden by management) when immigration officials would come by to check for illegal workers? This is not my only experience working with illegals either.
Just wanted to add one more thing. Illegal women cleaned the rooms and illegal men removed laundry and garbage from the rooms. The men would steal tips from any room cleaner that was not hispanic and yes they were caught. Of course nothing was done.
Believe it or not. I was there. There is no reason for me to make this up. Wanna know something else that's crazy? They usually worked two to a room while citizens worked alone on their rooms. Yet we were called lazy if we couldn't keep up. They also stole supplies from our buggies instead of getting their own. Fine hard workers indeed! |

I would find it ridiculous to make a presumption about the work ethic of either group. How can one say that out of millions of people, every last person in that group will be a hard worker- or anything else for that matter. It's not possible. |

No ! They simply do jobs that are considered more manual labor-not skilled. |

Where am I?

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be working here at all. the first need to apply for a green card. |

That's an impossible question to answer -- if for no other reason simply because not all American citizens work equally hard (and neither do all illegal immigrants).
I know American citizens who work 15-20 hour days, six or seven days a week. I also know some that don't work at all, and just collect unemployment and welfare. To whom should I compare the illegal immigrants?
The only facts I can point to are that the vast majority of illegal immigrants work very hard for very little pay. With no access to unemployment or welfare benefits, they have no "safety net" to fall back on if they don't earn money from working -- so they work. Hard.
But broad general comparisons like your question are impossible to answer accurately. |

No. I work with plenty of lazy Mexicans in Mexico who never get their hands dirty, hire maids and gardeners and would never do the jobs their illegal counterparts do in the US. |

No they don't. |

In some ways yes and no.. becuase sometime they worked hard then citzens and get paid alot less. also if immigration raids there work they are out of a job |

Whether they work harder or not, its not an issue that should make a difference. I hear the same lame excuse for the reason jobs were offshored to india. Americans are Americans, we have laws designed to suit our way of life, anyone who does not like those laws doesnt need to do business here or sell to the American people. |

Nope. I think we have a strong economy, and Mexico has a weaker economy, otherwise it'd be americans seeking work in Mexico. Since it's not, I think that kind of answers your question...
but to clarify, I think americans work plenty hard, and what's more I think we have better organization. When Mexico finally achieves that, then they'll be able to support their own, employ their own, and so forth, and we'll see the end of illegal immigration. I believe that by building the US/Mexico border fence, we'll hasten that progress right along... |

I guess it would just depend on the work they are doing.
But honestly, no, I just think that they just work and ask no questions for fear that they won't be able to find work somewhere else. They just want to make some money, and will take any kind of work you throw at them (or I should say....they will take any kind of work us citizens think we are too good for!). |

Not really, they just don't get paid as much. |

Usually they have family in their homeland who depend on them,You have to be more focused in america´s dog eat dog enviromnent, Americans take for granted what they have, Their purpose for travelling to america is to make life better for themselves so they have to focus... being ina rough situation sometimes motivate people to do better for themselves. |

So are you telling me that illegal aliens in fact work harder then you is that where you're going with this? |
|

Jazzy
 |
Most of them do, they have to work harder because they want a better life for their families, that is their purpose, if they didn't work hard there would be no purpose to being here. The ones that don't work hard don't really have a purpose or their purpose is to run away from their country for whatever they might have done, those are the ones that break as many laws as they possible can. Too bad the hard working people have to pay for everything. |

How can anybody judge that sort of view point? Stop generalizing. Americans have repsectable jobs while illegals don't. So according to that logic, Americans work harder. |
