I have a family member who moved here legally at the age of two with her family from Canada. She was issued a greencard at the time, but I don't think she has done everything necessary to maintain it. She has been married to a US citizen for 30+yrs. and has 3 kids- all born here. What do you need to do to keep up on your permanent residency status and how easy/difficult would it be for her to obtain full citizenship without the threat of deportation?

If she was admitted for permanent residence, nothing was required to
maintain it is she continued to reside in the US. If she has her
alien registration card (I-151), she can apply for naturalization whenever
she wants. If she has lost the card, she can apply for a replacement
