Is Arizona`s new law catching on?...?
|
I watched short video on Y.news, about Massachusetts Senate voting overwhelmingly for tougher laws aimed against illegals..One is that anyone applying for any welfare benefits has to prove U.S. citizenship. Another is; setting up hot line for anonymous reports of any company that hires illegals. And several other laws specifically aimed at curbing illegals and making their illegal stay im Massachusetts more uncomfortable.Reason given is that people of this state are getting fed up with illegals receiving tax funded benefits which they have not contributed to, and are not entitled to. So is Arizona`s new law catching on?..or is this just repetition of old laws?.. Additional Details Alexa- And what do you agree with?...That U.S. pulls down its borders and anyone & as many that want could come in whenever they please?..Apply for free everything which others/taxpayers would have to pay for?..Would you treat your own home/house and your family in this same way? - you being the "taxpayer"..

Pennsylvania state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe introduced legislation last week
modeled on the Arizona law, said his bill would give
"every illegal alien residing in Pennsylvania two options:
Leave immediately or go to jail."
South Carolina state Rep. Eric Bedingfield, a Republican, has sponsored a bill in that state allowing the verification of a person's immigration status
and providing for the
"warrantless arrest of persons suspected of being present in the United States unlawfully."
In Oklahoma, state Rep. Randy Terrill said he and some other lawmakers
still hope to pass a bill similar to Arizona's new law this session and "go beyond it."

@ Alexa - Oh so many sob stories of these illegal aliens! Boo hoo! You cannot have what isn't yours! All those illegal aliens have not earned the right to be in this country! So what if you crossed a border and through a hot dessert?! So what if you pick berries?! Oh boo hoo! That is not this country's concern. There are millions of legal immigrants who pick berries just as good as anyone else, and the one thing that they can say is that they EARNED their right to be here. Does the person who ran down my street through traffic, hurled my backyard fence, hopped between gofer holes, and warded off my German Shepherd now have the right to live in my home just because it was difficult to do? Of course not! I don't give a crap what hurdles illegal aliens went through to get here! They DON'T belong here, they ARE a burden on society, they DO drain resources meant for American citizens, and they DO bring crime with them! You think illegal aliens only pick berries, Alexa??? Then you're stupid because there are millions that have taken construction jobs, gardening jobs, cleaning jobs, daycare jobs, and landscaping jobs away from the LEGAL citizens of this country! And there are millions of legal citizens without jobs who WOULD pick berries to feed their families! |

I've seen plenty of Mexican Hobos in the U.S. You can go to any of the border states to see them. I've even seen them in Kansas. If you're an illegal in Mexico, any law enforcement officer can request to see your papers. And if they see anything our of place, you'll be deported or spend the next two years in a Mexican prison. |

They needed to apply that law a long time ago, before you couldn't tell if the immigrant was legal or illegal, but now the cops can ask. tiene paperless Si o NO? No papeles no mames and deportation and that's it. Si tiene Papeles, Okay, pay the ticket 61MPH on a 60MPH or tell that to the judge!!

Yes it's catching on.Money is getting drained off quickly so not enough to repair our economy. Not enough jobs so we don't need any more competition for fewer jobs.
Alexis-we have a program for legal migrant workers that has worked well for years. What we don't need are $6.00 an hour workers taking prevailing wage $25.00 an hour jobs intended to support families and pay taxes to repair our economy.Big difference between paying taxes (if any) on $6.00 and paying taxes on $25.00 an hour and sure don't need further drain of cash being sent to Mexico. That money will not circulate in our economy as it's intended to.And until mid 70's,whites and blacks were the main workers in picking fruit, they were pushed out of that by $.25 a box or bushel by illegals. |

I used to agree with the law when it first came out...but that was before I was able to see through an illegal immigrants point of view and I mean the ones who work, attribute to taxes, have kids and just want better lives for themselves and their family. Someone I love and care about more than anyone is going through deportation proceedings and its killing me inside and out. I don't agree with deporting everybody because it ruins lives and breaks up families and sometimes the pain of that is worse than death and believe me I have seen death and I have felt the pain associated with it. This is my personal opinion, but I know how people are on here so go ahead and give me thumbs down I don't care. |
