Yes, he is afraid, because Cuba's communist troops are ready to repel an American invasion like in Bay of pigs and Playa Giron..... |

Are you a real person? What kind of moron believes that democracy is spread through invasion and war?
Don't let your brainwashed education control your pathetic outbursts—idiot! |

Why would he do that? There is no money involved in overthrowing Cuba... |

Hello

Bush probably thinks Cuba is cigar company. |

Most of Cuba's problem stem from the US embargo on the country. I mean really what is the big rush to "spread Democracy to Cuba" like it's some kind of vaccine.
Cuba's problems don't come from communism they come from not being able to deal with the US, and if communism is the problem then explain China's success? |

Why would the US want to invade a sugar cane and banana growing island whose only other resources are tourism?
You know! Tourism, the U.S.A's number one and almost only major business on the continent.
Oh! I almost forgot we lucky American's have mucho grande farms which no one seems to notice are suffering from drought so bad we American's are losing crops to and have been for nearly ten full years now. |

I think that at this point since Fidel has been in such poor health and his brother has been running the country they are just waiting for Fidel to pass.
His brother seems alot more amiable and I think people will try and negotiate with him. |

What makes bush Sr. a lot better President than W. He didn't try to overthrow Saddam. Its not our place to chiise the leader of any other country except our own. It's the Cuban's duty to overthrow Castro. We have the blockade to placate Cuban-American voters in Florida. I think it would be gone if it wasn't for them. |

Overthrow... invade.... liberate.... spread.... OMG do you really think he's capable of all these things?! And that the Cuban people need any of it?! Has it ever crossed your mind they might have a say in their country's destiny?!
And then you wonder why people think you're arrogant...
Clean your own backyard first. |

perhaps you haven't heard of the bay of pigs disaster.
JFK trained Cuban Expats and launched an attack on Cuba. They used ships, airplanes and ground based attacks. Cuba easily defeated them, killed many soldiers and took the others to jail for 30yrs. Lucklily they were let go.
I don't think the US wants to make this mistake again. |

why should bush overthrow Castro? He is on his deathbed...and hardly controlled by the GOP or Bush. Cuban immigration is the way it is thanks to Castro, Bush had nothing to do with that. It is NOT the US's responsibility to open our borders to any Cuban, or even to help Cuba as long as it is under the control of a sworn enemy of the US! Americans owe cubans nothing. |
