England is a nation of many individuals, not one individual. When a group of people are racist you can usually find it in thier name or an unwritten understanding that need not be questioned. I don't know of any of these groups that have managed to over-throw a government. Therefore, in response to your question. the only ansswer available is: No, that would be ridiculous.

with regard the EU. Nationalism may be small minded but its not racist, the EU has got the problem of not being democratic. why would we have a problem with the English living in other countries, they may be insular but I don't think they cause much of a problem for there host countries.

England was sold into the common market by two votes and it had cost more for this country to stay part of it than for any other E.U. country..England is now the dumping ground for illegal immigrants and our own people born and bred that have worked and paid taxes are unable to get housing or benefits because the money and housing goes to them...The people that leave England do so because they have become so disappointed with what was once a great country. Englands Prime ministers have sent our soldiers to wars that they should not have .I.E. the Falklands &Iraq . so yes i guess maybe now many English people are racist i do not see English people being allowed to go into another country I.E. India and build churches just where they want to,infact we are not allowed to even take a bible into Saudi.it is against their religion.I live in Southampton on the south coast and we have several Mosques because there are so many Indian..Pakistani..Sri lankans that live in the city that they have taken over an area that was once the POSH part of Town (until W.W.II) so do not blame the English people for becoming racist the government has caused it our only fault was to believe their party vote seeking speeches about how things would get better and so vote them to power.

Excuse me? A country that takes in more than its fair share of refugees, a country where immigration is rampant, a country where in some towns there are more mosques than churches, a country that has vibrant multi-ethnic areas you are denouncing as RACIST?
If anything the UK is all-embracing (perhaps to the detriment of its native population) of all races, ethnicities, religions and creeds.
Why else does it have a long and proud history of being a safe haven for those persecuted in their own countries?

England say that EU is no good but they had a economical bost since join them.
- what boost do you refer to? offset that boost against against the billions we have put in and you will see there is no boost.

England as a country is not racist. People who are English are racist, just as in every other county, but there are far more who aren't. The fact that it wants to "stay apart from other European countries" doesn't make it racist by definition. All other European countries are the same "race" but are different "ethnicities", it's a word people often get mixed up. This would make England nationalists. But no, I do not think England to be any more racist than the next country.

First of all, England isn't a country in its own right. It's part of the UK, just like Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.

Now to your second point:
Yes, I would agree that in England from what I hear on the TV news here they apparently have a huge problem with Europe.
I suspect though if you went to other parts of the UK, such as Scotland, you'll find that they are far more Pro European & not closed minded as their larger neighbour.

Please don't tar everyone with the same brush.

Up until a few years ago English man had wife's and families "of coloUr all over the world but it was unthinkable to bring them too the U K so they left them were they found them,so yes it was and is racist
