Depends what you need it for.

If you have a US passport you are usually golden and should have no worries.

Anything else dealing with immigration (like applying for somebody else) you will need to show it.

well i would get another 1 cuz with our goverment changimg so much and laws getting canceled and new laws added u never know when they will ask 4 urs if u dont have it it may cause a problem dont travel with out it!!!!!

no unless you are deported. the certificate of naturalization is better evidence that you are a US citizen than the US passport.
