there is no hate towards the Mexican immigrants. There is quite a bit hostility towards illegals aliens.

Absolutely no. Besides all Americans are illegal as far as I'm concerned so the question here is who is more illegal than who. I'm sure the Native Americans would be far happier if you all left. They probably hated you as much as some of you seem to hate the Mexicans today.Slavery was also very evil, racism is evil. One day you are the one who looks down on others but the time will also come when others look down on you. If a human being is not paying taxes then that is another issue, maybe then they should be punished for not paying taxes.

This mess, illegal immigration, should not be used as a political issue if "Our politician and Media had not failed to face fairly the Corporate and Lobbyist who are taking advantage of this mess". Just because of that, some anchors and radio talk show are using this mess to create "fear" in people's mind and "spread" anger towards those undocumented people. Some anchors want people to believe: "All of those undocumented people are criminals, all of the crimes here in the US are committed by people who came here illegally". That's stupid!

They (undocumented people) should not be crossed the border to came here illegally, there's no explanation or negotiation possible about this.
- But we all know the "reason why" they are here.
- We all know "why" since 1994 to 2007, nine (9) million people came here "illegally" ...

If we could take the necessary time to point out the reasons of this mess, Illegal Immigration, is growing so fast and those people who stand behind this mess, it would take us at least two decades to get the best of this fight. But one thing is sure, our leaders are not quiet ready to end this mess ...

As long as the Republicans keep saying "they would deport all of those undocumented people who are here illegally" and about the Democrats "they would give pathway to citizenship for some of those undocumented people unless they don't have a criminal background" ... We would never ever have a solution to this mess!

It's impossible to deport all those undocumented people here illegally, because we can't afford "that cost". And it's stupid or illogic to consider "citizenship" as the next step for someone who came here illegally.

GIVE THEM A WAY TO WORK LEGALLY WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO START CONSIDER WHO AMONGST THEM DESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN THE COUNTRY BY HELPING THIS COUNTRY.

But it would be an "urge" fight to take, because there are a lot of people (Corporate-Lobbyist, Politician, Media) who want to keep those "undocumented people" in the shadow just to use them!

no hate is justified.....but laws have to be obeyed....and the ones here illegally are breaking those laws...and must be dealt with, by enforcing such laws.....and in the end that may mean deportation.....they are free to go home at any time before that though.

They brought it on themselves, with their defiant attitudes. None of the the other illegal aliens did that, because they're not as stupid or rude.

I think many people see illegal immigration as evidence a failure of our government to enforce the laws and as a threat with the NAU in the looming in the background. They are given preference in hiring in many parts of the country and there could be up to 20 million here.

As our unemployment rises, some may go home if the employers in this country uphold the law. Otherwise you will see our unemployment rise significantly while the jobs are filled with under-the-table workers.

I don't think this is going to improve the feelings many people have towards illegal immigrants. The government needs to do something about this situation because it is unfair to the illegals as well as American citizens to let it go on as it is.

I don't see anyone upset with any legal immigrants of any nationality. We would like to welcome them to the country but not as people who undercut us for jobs. They should earn no less than minimum wage and pay taxes like the rest of us.

Its not hate Bob and certainly not directed at Mexicans who came here legally. We do have a big issue with illegals of all nationalities Bob, and the backlash is directed at them. Most Americans base these views on LOVE..for their country. Glad we could clear that up for you Bob.

I am a child of Legal Immigrants, first generation American (please note, not a hyphenated form).

I have Nothing at all against any legal immigrant who comes to this country and assimilates. That is what this country was based on and what has made it great in the past. I do however have a serious problem with those who are here ILLEGALLY. What part of ILLEGAL is not clear?

My parents came here from Italy after WW2 and got nothing but an opportunity to make things better for themselves and eventually me. I had to learn English, school was not taught in many languages. My Father became a citizen and was one of the most adamant "Americans" I have ever known. He had to learn to read and write at age 38 and was able to read every ballot that was presented to him since his first election.

i don't care where you came from, if you are not willing to assimilate to the US then go back where you came from. Learn the language (ENGLISH), follow the rules, pay your taxes and contribute. Stop expecting a freebie and special attention.

For all you bleeding heart liberals who want to give the illegals drivers licenses and free medical coverage, please do this first:
Sneak over the border into Mexico or Canada, or France, or anywhere else and try and get THEM to not put your *** in jail. It ain't hppenin....

The issue is not Mexican immigrants but illegal immigrants. I find a lot of people can't seem to distinguish between the two. There are immigration laws on the books and the majority of Americans just want them enforced. The illegal immigrants that are here have jumped the que so to speak.
I had a woman from Costa Rica who worked for me and she really resented the fact of illegals coming into the country as she legally immigrated, jumped through all the hoops required and waited patiently simply because she was honest and wanted to do the right thing in the right way. She was poor and her family was not well off. She told me she did not understand why these illegal immigrants should be granted any status in the country and if they were it would be an insult and a show of disrespect to all those immigrants that entered legally. It opened my eyes to the reality of this situation.
So the argument is not immigration or even the race of the immigrant, its about illegal immigration and the breaking of the laws in the country and the need to either enforce them or just take them off the books and just open the borders. You can't have it both ways.
By the way I don't condone hate against illegal immigrants and those that do should be brought to justice. I blame the government for all this and no one else.

I dont think anyone hates them and certainly not the ones who came legally. It is not hate to want them to respect the laws of our country. Maybe you should have a look at Mexicos immigration policy and see how they treat someone who comes illegally there. We could do without them as we did in the past before they started mass illegal immigration.

1. The anger is directed at illegal aliens. NOT Mexican Immigrants. And if you had done your homework, you would have discovered the mexican American Community has paid more for those illegal aliens than any other group in the country. That means... their schools, their hospitals, their neighborhoods, their cultural basis, their jobs and their lives are what were whanged.. whanged with the illegal aliens.
