maybe we need to rethink everything and look at the world as a whole.. as a whole people are having too many babies - it is destroying our planet and forcing people to move around to other places for food/work... You are belly aching for no reason. Mexico is a nation of desperation due to a corrupt government. The people are being oppressed and seeking an escape route. They're not trying to "invade" or "take over". They only want to get to a place where they can survive and sustain, which is the same thing any of you would do if faced with their situation.

You know, like most people in the United States, I believe in following the rules. Yes, illegal immigration is wrong and those who seek residency in the United States should follow the rules and go through the proper channels in order to gain citizenship. With that said, yes we have some "visitors" here, yes what they are doing is wrong, but we can hardly call it an invasion people! Do you seriously feel that they are taking over...I mean honestly? Lighten up...it'll all work out!

Americans are more aware of the current immigration problems. I believe even if the amnesty is approved. Americans would be more conscientious to hire illegal aliens, not just the field workers but also in offices and other fields. I think Americans would would be more inclined to use thorough background checks. We're really going to hit them where it hurts the most...not being able to get a job.

If you were refering to the illegal immigrant thang, I predict that quasi decent laws will be passed ...and then not enforced properly and the illegals will just keep on a coming. Lots of our Native American heroes died fighting terrorism (the European invasion) and they are still dying in big numbers protecting our country. Someone should be thankful for all those lives lost, instead of complaining about something totally different, the "new" imigration. My neighbor works at a free clinic. They get illegal aliens all the time, and she know because she has to ask for a social secuirty, and all the I.A. ask if they have to show it and they don't have to! She is really pisted and Iam to. My guess is no.
