Is illegal immigration your top issue in choosing a president?

Yes, no other issue comes as close. Our leaders and the Chamber of Commerce are working with la raza and the aclu to keep our borders open and to legalize the 20 million illegal alien invaders in our country. I consider these people to be traitors. Allowing 20 million illegal aliens, who are mostly mexicans, to stay in our country is unforgivable. These mexican invaders believe that they own the US southwestern states, and they are colonizing them through legal and illegal immigration.

Don't you agree that losing 4 or 5 states to la reconquista is more important than taxes, a war in Iraq, the economy (which is still healthy), or the threat from radical Islamists? All of the Dimocrat candidates, plus the GOP's McCain, Giuliani, and Huckabee will give amnesty to the vast majority of the 20 million illegal aliens in our country, if we are foolish enough to elect them. You can count on it!

it is the single biggest factor in the economy.

No. Immigration is an important issue, but it's hardly the earth-shattering crisis that some people make it out to be. I'm more concerned with how a candidate deals with several important issues, not just one.

No not really because they are just gonnna keep coming in and if someone decides to let them in that I ok I guess but there are more important things to worry about. but I you want my opinoin on what you think about is they could let them in but they have to serve in the army for a year then our amry gets help and helps the imagration I think someone should make that the law. Also then maybe not as many people would want to come becausse they know they have a good chance of dying also there kids cant come with them.

Because it's really NOT that important. People claim it's a national security issue but the 9/11 terrorists came here legally, not one of them bothered crossing the border through Mexico, they have money, they have logistics, they have intelligence, they don't need to do that. Much more important are things like health care or the environment or making ourselves energy independent which may have the side effect of improving our national security by not funding those nations who support or from which terrorist come from. Did you hear that Dubai, a middle eastern country bought a big chunk of City Bank which was in a deep crisis because of the housing market? With whose money? the money WE pay them for THEIR OIL!

By the way moving away from oil might also have the side effect of making our environment cleaner and slowing global warming.

Also having a socialized health care system might make this country more competitive, thus keeping jobs here.

How about education? I'm terrified that my children are going to go to school in a place that's still debating evolution!!! If this country goes down the drain it will be because we can't graduate enough scientist, engineers or nurses, not even give people the proper reading and math skills to land an entry level job. THAT worries me.

I don't worry about tomato pickers, waitresses and nannies "invading" us.

no it's never been a top issue for me-I think it's a bunch of slanted crap the news tries to feed us. C'mon, if you went to college and got a bachelors degree and you really believe that someone who got into this country illegally, doesn't have verification to work, and can't speak english very well is taking your jobs you have bigger problems.
